New bike I want supermoto wheel set and lights. Is there a place I can order the full conversion wheel set up and then have someone put it on.
Just because I ride on the street doesn’t mean I stole jackasses and I’m converting to supermoto be mad when I post that too.
This is my first dike bike although I do know how to ride average. But I love this thing. Can almost pop it up in any gear.
So, the U.S. Marshals came to my home while I was away on vacation. I hired a criminal attorney and paid him $1,650. I gave him the phone number of one of the officers who came, and he arranged for me to turn myself in.
I turned myself in, but he didn’t come to court—he sent a colleague instead. I went in front of the judge. Basically, I had a warrant from New Jersey, and I was in New York, so the judge gave me a court date in New Jersey, and I went home.
The lawyer then called and said it was a Jersey case, so he recommended another lawyer and said the $1,650 I paid would be credited toward that attorney. That lawyer never responded, so he recommended another one who wanted $6,500 upfront—no exceptions. I told him that, and he said he was sure the guy would work with me. I told him no, the guy wasn’t budging, and then he stopped responding.
I followed up three days later and asked if he could send me my money back. He said we would talk tomorrow because he was away. I contacted him the next day, and he said he would send the money tomorrow. I reached out again the day after that, and he said “tomorrow” again. He was taking all day to respond—I had to send about three texts and call him.
He then said he was busy in jail all day and would call me tomorrow and Zelle me the money. The next day came, I texted him, and he called me—but only sent me $650.
He did no real work—he only contacted the officer who came to my home to arrange my surrender. He didn’t even know the case was in another state. Then, when he found out, he said he couldn’t handle it because it was in New Jersey and we are in New York. He said he would credit my money toward a new lawyer, recommended two lawyers who couldn’t help, and then only gave me $650 back.
Also, I didn’t sign any paperwork or anything. I’ll post screenshots below. I feel played.
