Am I overreacting?

My beloved Immortal Man has a new game coming out! Yay, I’ve been so excited! They just released a new fully voiced trailer, but his voice is…British?

It’s in the same universe as No, I’m Not a Human, which is set in a Slavic country. His name is Yakob which is the Russian version of Jacob. I’m just, really upset they just stuck an English accent on him. It feels like a cop out. In media, if something is filmed in another country, they always have an English accent, why not a Russian accent when it takes place there? I know they could’ve done it well if they tried.

I really don’t want to consider this canon. Yakob is Russian to me. This is just…so upsetting and disappointing and I don’t know if I’m overreacting cause it’s just a game and fictional. Maybe they’ll have a Russian dub but it still like, sucks ass to have your f/o voiced in a way that doesn’t even make sense

I feel so undesirable and like a loser

I’m 30 years old and I have no boyfriend, no home of my own, no career, nothing to be proud of. I constantly feel I’m not good enough at my age. A part of it is because I feel like nobody likes me. I have autism and it drives men away. It’s not my fault, I try to be tolerable but they always throw me away. I feel ugly and undesirable. I’m short and have a baby face and I feel that’s part of it too. One of my coworkers got engaged and I feel so bad because I can’t even get a date. I just want to be like other people who have it all together. I hate my autism.

I’ve been bored so I’ve been trying to learn Russian for Immortal Man. I also live in a place with a lot of Russian language. It’s pretty difficult but I like to think he’d be proud of me for trying! Has anyone else tried a new language?
