Is it faster on mobile than notion?

Hi! I've been thinking of switching from notion to anytype because notion mobile app is too damn slow on android, is anytype better?

I did try it, and it feels smoother, but I wanna hear from others' experiences before I switch to it completely...

Can I stop going to appointments now?

I've been on 100 mg Zoloft for almost two months now and I've been feeling much better for a while.

But I'm considering skipping my next psychiatry appointment because it's at a public hospital, the wait times are long (it was 4 hours last time), I don't really like the psychiatrist, I have to skip work to go, and I have to take 1.5 hour bus commute each way. I chose that hospital because it's my university hospital, so it was free with my student insurance, but I'm graduating so I'm not going there anymore. I also don't really want to start paying for a private psychiatrist.

I plan to keep taking my medication regardless (Zoloft doesn't require a prescription where I live), but part of me thinks I should go because I have a few concerns like what if I suddenly start feeling worse or develop bad side effects (even though I haven't had any so far)? New appointments take forever to get at public hospitals, so I'd probably have to wait a couple of months before I could even talk to someone.

I'm also not sure how long I'm supposed to stay on Zoloft. I'm doing so much better now and life feels so much easier that I honestly never want to go back to how I felt before. Like should I just never stop taking it? I have no idea what's actually recommended.

I'm doing better in life, but it feels weird

So it's been a month since I started taking Zoloft, and I'm finally feeling some improvements. I don't think I'm, like, magically happy now, but damn, life really does feel a little bit easier now. I went on a walk with my mom, and it was okay. It was just a walk, and in the past, it's never been just a walk. I'd always spiral into a depressive episode, get irritated by the simplest things, feel a sense of dread whenever she'd mention my future, and whatever I did never made me feel like I wanted another tomorrow. I still don't think I want another tomorrow, but I know it's coming, and I kinda feel okay about it.

Anyways, of course, yes, this feels better. But at the same time, it's so unfamiliar it doesn’t feel like myself. I keep feeling like I'm in the movie "Obsession," and my medicated self is taking over the real me who's figured out that life is meaningless and all. I know that, realistically, the real me I'm referring to might just be the depression talking, but maybe it's because I've been depressed since my teenage years, so I basically grew up like this, in a way, and it feels like me.

Sometimes I get these moments of feeling like shit and then thinking: "This is home". I know that now I feel better, and things will be better, and it'll be easier to continue in this life, but I still somehow hate it. This is not what I promised teenage me. I seriously never thought I'd live until now, but tomorrow keeps coming anyway, and I have to deal with it somehow, and I know this is my best option. But it still makes me feel weird. I don't feel like I'm acting like myself when I'm not exhausted by life.

I feel like another person because I enjoyed the sun and the walk today. I feel weird because music got to me, and I felt like dancing. I feel weird because I wanted to see my friend, who I haven't seen in a year, and I genuinely felt like I missed her. I know this is all sweet and a good improvement. I just think I don't know how to be okay with being okay. It feels so fucking weird.

switching from Zoloft after only 4 weeks?

Hello guys

My psychiatrist told me to start Zoloft with 25mg for 1 week, then 50mg for 1 week, then continue with 100mg. I'm at week 4 now and had my follow up appointment. She asked if I noticed any improvements and I said no, not really. Then she said it's strange because I should've felt something by now, and maybe this med just isn't right for me. She even suggested that maybe I'm not actually depressed since I'm still functional in my life and that maybe I just need to "find my purpose in life". I left the appointment feeling really frustrated.

Anyway, like I said, I haven't noticed any improvements at all. The only side effect I've really had is insomnia, and it's been getting worse lately. I think I've only slept like 6 hours total in the last 3 days. So then she suggested I switch to mirtazapine 30mg because she thinks it might work better for me and it would also help with the insomnia. But everywhere I read people say Zoloft takes like 6-8 weeks to really start working, so I don't really understand why she was surprised that I haven't improved yet. She also told me I could just stop the Zoloft and start the mirtazapine right away, with no taper or anything. I always thought stopping an SSRI suddenly was a bad idea, so now I'm not really sure what to think.

So now I don't know what to do. Should I just stay on Zoloft for a few more weeks and see if it starts working? I'm just worried because the insomnia is getting pretty bad and I don't know if that's something that usually goes away with time or not. Or should I just switch to the mirtazapine? Has anyone here switched straight from Zoloft to mirtazapine without tapering? How did it go?

Also, I can't really go to another psychiatrist because this is the only hospital where my student insurance covers psychiatry, so for now this is my only option.

Guys, help. Every time I try to make a veggie burger (no matter the recipe, beans or lentils or mushrooms or all or whatever), it always ends up soft and feels like an uncooked mush from inside. How do I fix that?

I already add stuff like oats or breadcrumbs or cornstarch, and it doesn't really fall apart, it holds up nicely, but it's soft from inside as if it's not cooked.

Although I'm not the best at cooking, maybe I'm frying it wrong? If I leave them for long, they just burn. Should I try to make them thinner when shaping? Or any other tips please?

Whenever I buy veggie burger from the supermarket (not beyond or tofu, just veggie) and fry them, they end up so good, so idk what I'm doing wrong with mine when it's homemade :(
