I wanted to know about the current work policy at DUSI. Is it hybrid, or are there teams that still allow permanent WFH?
Also, for employees who are working completely from home, is that usually granted only in special situations such as health issues, maternity, caregiving responsibilities, etc. or do some teams/managers allow it based on the project?

I’m trying to get into JPMorgan Chase via referral for Data Science / GenAI kind of roles in India and wanted to understand the actual ground reality around the work culture, AI/ML work, and WLB.
My current experience is heavily focused on Data Science + GenAI, so one thing I’m slightly concerned/confused about is the kind of work actually happening inside a bank environment.
Since hiring often depends on the team/org you get mapped to, I’m trying to get a broader picture from people already working there.
Some things I’d love insights on:
How strong is the AI/ML + GenAI ecosystem at Chase India currently?
Are teams genuinely building ML/LLM products and platforms, or is a large chunk still dashboards/reporting/Excel-heavy work?
Which orgs/LOBs generally have more interesting AI work (CCB, CIB, AWM, Risk, Fraud, etc.)?
How is the engineering culture for DS/ML folks?
How’s the WLB generally for AI/ML teams in Bangalore/Hyderabad/Mumbai?
Does the work feel impactful or does compliance/process slow things down a lot?
How much of the work is research/prototyping vs productionization/business support?
