Any luck getting Dupixent cheaper in Canada or Mexico?

American here. I’ve read several other posts about how our the american insurance thugs are tricking and robbing us and then telling us it’s our own fault. They should literally all be in prison for life. I hate it here sometimes. So I’m not even going to bother detailing the saga of how I’ve just been financially raped by these criminals. My question is this: has anyone been able to buy dupixent in Canada or Mexico for a more reasonable price? I think I’m effed for 2026, but maybe next year I won’t have to start selling nudes if I can sort this out now.

Deaf kitty - help wanted

Sweet Willie girl is 11-12yrs old. I posted previously about her yelling around the house recently. Vet tested her and she does have hyperthyroidism that is now being treated. However, she is also deaf. Unclear if these are related, but the hearing is not expected to return with treatment.

Great news is, Willie sees pretty unperturbed by being deaf. The yelling is calming down with thyroid treatment. We’ve started using lights as cues (we used to call her or use a bell). We try to stomp around so she can feel that we’re nearby. And we try not to sneak up and startle her. She seems soothed by seeing her humans and being held. Adorable! We used to have a dog, and I think her hearing loss went unnoticed for a bit before he died because I suspect she was using him as an aid by visually tracking his behavior to know what was going on in the house. I plan to get another dog this summer, but waiting to find the right one.

So I’m just wondering how some of y’all have helped a newly hearing impaired kitty thrive? 😻

Post-immersion blues… now what?!

I’m returning to USA after a brief immersion/school experience and looking for next steps.

Background: I minored in Spanish 15 years ago (wow, time flies!) but never became truly fluent, never studied abroad, etc. Lost much of it since then. My partner never learned at all! We both just finished a program in Oaxaca for 2 weeks - 4hrs/day one-on-one instruction - and saw major improvement! We plan to do another similar experience in about 6 months (maybe in Guatemala or Colombia). Meanwhile, we live in a small town with no Spanish speakers 😭 so we’re looking for something online… and I’m overwhelmed by the sheer volume of options. Help!!! 🤣

What do folks recommend to stay fresh and maybe even learn a bit more between now and our next immersion?

• Current cards: chase visa prime card since ~2022, $15k limit (similar card/s before this since at least 2012; only ever ONE card at a time)
• FICO Score: 822
• Oldest account age: not sure what this means
• Chase 5/24 status: I don’t think this applies
• Income: $300k
• Average monthly spend and categories:
• dining $650
• groceries: $800
• gas: $180
• travel: $600 (averaged out)
• other: unsure
• Open to Business Cards: maybe?
• What's the purpose of your next card? Better travel perks including united lounge?
• Do you have any cards you've been looking at? Not even sure where to start
• Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card? Open to either

Specifically, I just got spoiled by United lounge and I’d like this (or similar) every time I travel. I go through Denver airport mostly, and SLC second most. Lots of work travel to the east coast and then intermittently to other places for fun and family. I mostly fly United (because Denver) but sometimes delta (I actually prefer delta, it’s just not an option often because I live in a small town and use a regional airport with only 3 connections!). We travel internationally about once a year. For context, dual income no kids. We like to have fun when we travel. My husband is a veteran, in case that helps us qualify for special rates.

Regarding the lounges, the appeal for me is the quiet, less stressful environment and decent healthy food. If there’s no way to game the system in my favor, that’s ok. But I’d like to upgrade my seats a bit more often, too. And I don’t do anything smart with miles so far. The whole thing seems like a weird game and I don’t like games 🤣
