Can someone explain how Tivit, Seller of Secrets win?

Can someone explain how Tivit, Seller of Secrets win?

I'm specifically looking at the B4 [[Tivit, Seller of Secrets]].

I believe that the combo is centered around [[Time Sieve]]?

As i understand, the Tivit + Time Sieve combo only works if you have 3 or more opponents. What happens after 1 player is eliminated? How do you win if they have huge flying blockers or maybe threatening a combo win on their next turn?

Im pretty sure i'm missing something.

Thank you in advance!

Commander suggestion for B4 EDH?

I am currently in the market for a new commander deck.

Any suggestions? Also, hoping that you could briefly describe the win con for the said commander. I will deeply look into it.

Thank you very much!

Climbing to max apocalypse help?

Hi! Im currently at apocalypse 10 and at level 108 with power 144. It seems like i've hit a wall or maybe it is just the gear that i use.

So i finally did a rolling build with satchel of elements. It great that i get to clear some maps fast.

But im now getting items at power 150 which is way above my current gear of 141.

How should i go about this? Should i upgrade the gear? Or do i just salvage it and build a new one?

If salvaging, how often will i be doing this? The hardest part for me is the farming gold to enchant. It takes a lot of time to do so.

Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

Each mage deals 6 dmg to all for every non creature spell, is this degen enough?

As the title says..

Kuja (front) creates mage tokens that deal 1 dmg to each opponent.

Hawkeye turns those 1 dmg to 3 dmg.

When kuja flips, every mage deals 6 dmg.

Is this correct?

How to deal with sweaty pants and underpants after ride?

So i've been riding my honda rebel 500 to work. I wear balaklava, helemet, mesh jacket w/ armor, gloves, and boots. I run avg 20-30kph. 40-50 max on certain locations.

So when i get off my bike, pansin ko pawis yung buong katawan ko. Understandable naman yung head, torso, and arms. I can change clothes or just use an electeic fan to dry myself.

Question ko lng is yung pants and underpants. Ganun ba talaga? Siguro kaya ng electric fan yung pants. Pero d ko na alam ano gagawin sa underpants. Bring extra palagi?

Meron ako nakita sa shopping app na fan that is clipped under the shirt. Will that work/help?

Tips on how to manage sweaty problems? Thanks!

Help me degen Bugenhagen, i will have 7 Mana by Turn 4.

As the title say, i will have 4 mana by turn 3 and 7 mana by turn 4, help me degen this deck.

Ideally, i will be able to wipe the board by turn 4 or put a creature to stop early aggro pressure.

Also ideally, i will be able to stop/slow combo and overwhelm control.

Big creatures that does crazy things would be ideal. Win con would be my opponents flipping the table when im done doing my thing. Hehehe.

Any suggestion would be well appreciated. Thanks!

What is a B3 archetype that people love to play with?

So i get that people don't like to play against stax, discard, etc especially in B3.

What is a "fun" archetype in B3 that everybody loves to play with that has many interactions to prevent others from playing solitaire and is not playing solitaire by itself and is still very strong?

Would you suggest a commander that is playable in B3 to B3+ that is still very powerful but is considered "fun" to play against and not ruining everyone's magic?

Thanks!

Tinybones in B3, will i lose my friends?

If i use [[Tinybones, Trinket Thief]] or [[Tinybones, Bauble Burglar]] in a B3 table and add cards like [[Tergrid, God of Fright]], [[Oppression]], and [[Chains of Mephistopheles]], will a B3 table complain?

Ideally, the strategy is to rip my opponents' hands and let them play top deck while i benefit from it.

Is it too much for a B3 table? Just right? What is considered alright and too much?

How is discard strategy generally viewed in B3 tables?

Tips for a noob trying to Day 1 today?

It's 6am now in this part of the world.

I'm about 5'4" and 98kg. Obese. I finally have the courage to want to do something about this.

I've been reading articles and watching videos about IF for about 2 hrs now.

For the past week, i unknowingly did 12:12 (12 hours fasting, 12 hrs eating?). It just happened that way.

Im aiming to do 16:8. My planned schedule is 10am - 6pm.

I would like to ask some questions:

  1. Is black coffee ok? (No milk, no sugar)

  2. Is hot and cold tea ok? (No milk, no sugar)

  3. Is coke zero or diet coke ok?

  4. I have meds that i take at morning. Do those break IF?

  5. I plan to not fast on the weekends, how does that work? I just eat when i feel it?

  6. If i stop on the weekend and get back on monday, where do i start counting?

7.Considering today is day 1, im definitely sure that i will be struggling. If i won't struggle now, definitely in the next few days. What should i do to help control it?

Thanks in advance!

Help with identifying all the triggers and which ones goes in the stack first and resolution?

Scenario 1:

- [[guttersnipe]] on the battlefield

- i cast [[grab the prize]] and discarding [[fiery temper]] as additional cost

- cast [[fiery temper]] via madness

Scenario 1:

- [[guttersnipe]] on the batttlefield

- i cast [[Highway Robbery]] discarding [[fiery temper]] in resolution

- cast [[fiery temper]] via madness

I believe that the 2 scenarios are different because one is putting discard as part of the cost and the other is puttin the discard as part of the resolution. Im also getting confused with madness (trigger?). I totally get lost with guttersnipe triggers.

Thank you very very much for your help. Thanks!

The black one is rev'iti and the brown is five guys (leather).

The knuckle on the black is significantly softer than the one on the brown. The brown is not hard like plastic and is squeezable.

On the palms, there is a layer for slip protect? But it's not like the carbon or plastic na slippery material.

Question:

  1. Is the knuckles ok? Or should i find materials like carbon/plastic?

  2. The palm slip thingy, is the one i have reliable? Or should i find materials like carbon/plastic?

  3. Maybe a brand/model reco? I just need to be able to operate my phone/chigee when im wearing them.

Thanks!

So i built a budget squall deck w/o any game changers and my playgroup says it is weak and suffers from only attacking 1 person at a time and combat dmg must connect. Then everyone agreed.

Granted, i tried the deck against their b4 decks. But still, this sparked a fire inside me. I want to slowly wipe the smile off their faces and maybe stop them from playing magic and look at my commander as a threat and not a cute bystander.

This got me thinking. If only i could stop/delay them from casting their threats/combos/etc, while i find my "lose life/gain life combo","lock the game combo", or "ping combo" pieces by abusing library mill and putting cards from graveyard to hand/play.

Of course, my alternate win condition is for my squall to deal commander damage to my opponents.

Top of my mind, i would be using the ff:

- [[drannith magistrate]] - stop thoracle, other shinanigans. Sacrifice this creature when im ready to combo off.

- [[opposition agent]] - stop opponents from tutoring. Sacrifice this creature when im ready to combo off.

- [[orcish bowmasters]] -- just because?

- [[demonic tutor]], [[vampiric tutor]], [[enlightened tutor]] -- why not?

- ballista ping combo

- aristocrats gain life lose life combo

- aristocrats mill opponent out combo

- stax pieces

-----

Will you guys please recommend combos, stax pcs, game lock pcs, other lines of winning, etc.

I think the biggest problem im currently facing is how to start the engine as i play stax pcs to slow everyone else down.

Any inputs will be well appreciated. Thanks!

So my b3 playgroup is saying that my glass canon [[Sergeant John Benton]] is b4 because it is able to kill someone by turn 4/5 w/ commander damage using multiple pump spells. It loses gas after that. The deck doesn't have any game changers. It's just giant growth, etc w/ enchantment doublesteike. What to do?

Maybe i shouldn't focus on one player? Hold out to turn 6 before killing someone? Remove double strike?
