WTF
Why is my onscreen display huge now? I can’t access the menu settings to figure this out. The pic is my YTTV icon. That’s the flippin’ ICON on a 55” screen! I unplugged the Apple TV box, plugged it back in to no avail.

As a regular contributor to IMDb, I was asked if AI approves trivia now, and I didn’t have the answer.
But now I do.
I submitted this the other day, and it was accepted the next day. It’s from S3, E1, the first Grand Canyon episode. There’s an obvious audio add-in exposition from Carol: “Boy, it’s a good thing I had my purse with me.“ To which I added the bottom trivium.
I nearly pissed myself laughing. 😆
Glenn Close, Dangerous Liaisons
Melanie Griffith, Working Girl
Jodie Foster, The Accused (winner)
Meryl Streep, A Cry in the Dark
Sigourney Weaver, Gorillas in the Mist
I’ve never complained about Fosters win; it was a difficult, nuanced performance. Plus, the Academy loves the victim–overcomes–prejudice roles. On another thread, I mentioned CCH Pounder being overlooked for Bagdad Cafe. Instead, we got Close, doing a 180 from Fatal Attraction. Griffith sounded like Jennifer Tilly’s (hilarious) Bad Actress performance in Bullets Over Broadway. Streep hacking up yet another accent; were there no authentic Aussie actresses available? And Weaver playing with apes while turning the word “mountain” into a monosyllabic shriek. Film critic Gene Siskel said she should not have been nominated: “I go to the zoo; give ME an award.“ 😆 CCH was (and is) so fantastic. I hope she gets a role worthy of her aura.
I know how to create them (“ee”). When testing my quiz, I can’t remember how to mark wrong answers. I thought it was a simple right click, but that doesn’t seem to be working. HALP!
In “The Tattletale” (S2, E10), Alice’s jingle ended in “gaberdoon.”
Carol: “Gaberdoon?”
Alice: “It’s a pun.”
Mike: “You mean POON.”
Robert Reed. Filth. 🤭
If you have it, today’s T-Mobile Tuesday offers THREE FREE MONTHS of MGM+ where PHM is streaming!
I’m on my 3rd viewing (1st 2 in theatres), and the emotional highs are alive and well. 🥹
Certainly one of the best written episodes of the, I don’t know, 76 years of the show.
New Orleans!
Home of pirates, drunks and whores
New Orleans!
Tacky overpriced souvenir stores
If you want to go to hell, you should take a trip
To the Sodom and Gomorrah of the Mississip'
New Orleans!
Stinking, Rotten, vomiting, vile
New Orleans
Putrid, brackish, maggotty, foul
New Orleans!
Crummy, lousy, rancid, and rank
New Orleans!
Exactly who pissed off Jeff Martin (lyrics)?
This picture from “The D & D Vortex.”
😂🤣💀
I have 2 SSDs attached to my TCL TV via USB. Whenever I turn off the power, the RMP resets itself (“boots up”). It used to show me the last show/movie played. Can I get back to that? e.g., every morning, I’ll watch two episodes of “I Love Lucy.“ My list used to show the last one played so I could just move on; now, RMP boots up, and I have to find the show, then the season, then the episode. Help!
Just joined this sub, so forgive me if this is a tired old topic. I swear Jasmine UPC used to be available for Word, but I just bought a license, and it wasn't there. So...I downloaded the .tff and unzipped the file. It shows up in my Word font list, but I can't use it. Even when I set it to DEFAULT, it goes back to the first one alphabetically. Google isn't helping. Please HALP! (Windows 11 Home)
While searching for “Project Hail Mary” on Prime Video, I saw the trailer for this fetid turd. The acting is as horrible as you might expect. A. Weir should sue the “filmmakers” for defamation of character.
Still, I’m half-tempted to watch it.
