Just wanted to show off my bridesmaid proposals. They feature a blind date with a book for two of my girls and a blind date with a cd for my other bridesmaid. Had written note and then stickers and tea. Two got a craft and one is a mom so I got her a necklace from her wishlist instead. I can’t wait to get these to them 🥹
So I had two streak repairs and missed just yesterday. I was given no chance to use them to repair my streak. I now have completely reset back to zero? Is there any chance to fix this?
At this point after having a ton of issues with the super girl event and now this? Might be cancelling my subscription and moving on from this app. I had an almost five hundred day streak and I make one mistake with repairs and completely lost it. Feeling very frustrated.
My senior cat (17 but will be 18 in a few months) was put under for a dental since he wasn’t finishing all of his food. He has beginning stages of kidney disease so they said they wanted to make sure his teeth were clean because bad teeth can affect the kidneys.
Blood work came back good, said his kidneys hadn’t gotten worse in a year so they gave him the green light. He had his dental on Thursday. When he got home he was very out of it and didn’t want to move much but nothing unusual for anesthesia. Come Friday he also didn’t want to eat or move much at all but they just assumed he was slow to recover and to give him until Saturday.
Come Saturday we woke up and he couldn’t put any weight on his hind legs. He was crawling everyone and struggling to even get up. Showed no interest in food or water. The vet had us bring him in.
They did an exam and took an x ray of the back end. Nothing was broken, they didn’t believe anything neurological or blood clots were happening but he couldn’t bear weight on specifically his left back leg to the point of collapse. The said they wouldn’t do any anti-inflammatory but gave him a long release med of Zorbium as well as Elura as an appetite stimulant and a dose of solensia. They said he’d act off, maybe be hyperactive. Maybe sleepy and cuddly. Told us to check in on Monday and only go to the emergency vet if he seemed to get worse.
Well he hasn’t moved much at all since then. He doesn’t seem worse. He still can barely stand. He only is eating the treat tubes and a bite of wet food. He is drinking water if you put it in front of him. He tried walking a bit today but it ended in him collapsing and about 20 minutes wet himself because he couldn’t make it to the litter box.
I’m at a complete loss of what’s going on. He isn’t getting worse and has got a hair more mobile since Saturday and is drinking more water but he isn’t eating and now that he’s wet himself I’m terrified. Just trying to see what anyone’s thoughts are.
He is just a big tuxedo house cat, 17, located in Phoenix. No links to any x rays as they weren’t provided. My fiancé has had him since was a kitten born in a bush. He is neutered and weighs 14 pounds.
