Dreaming through someone else’s perspective

Have you ever had dreams in which you are not really you, but seeing and experiencing something through someone else’s eyes? I have had so many vivid dreams where I’m just dropped into someone else’s “conscious”. They’re so detailed and vivid and feel real. I’ll explain some examples and please note when I say “I, me, my” I don’t really mean ME in irl - it’s whoever I was seeing through.

Like one time I was a little girl named Nana, my parents were maybe Asian or Mexican? (I am a white girl for reference). I had a twin sister named Nini. My mom was pregnant and we were at the hospital and she had another baby, a baby boy. I remember being small, tired, and walking out with my parents, sister and baby. I was ready to go home. I was so hungry! My dad kept lecturing me to behave and not whine until we left lol.

Another time I was a child on the beach with my mom. We were cuddling on the shore and she was tickling me. She kept telling me don’t jump too far in the water and stay close bc she was gonna look at some rocks or find something. I hopped in and waded out too far, I looked back and my mom was standing at the shore looking for me and yelling. I ended up going under and vividly dreamed of dying of drowning - down to taking my last breath and inhaling water. When i “died” in the dream I woke up.

I hope all of this makes sense!! Dreams are so intriguing to me, while I would say it’s just my brain making stuff up, I have no idea where it would get this info, storylines, etc lol.

bullying and micromanaging

I work at a small family owned business. I have a coworker who is very close to the owner. She keeps things organized for the owner and assists her a lot.

She is constantly interrupting tasks to criticize me or take them over, this goes for any task as simple as addressing mail. She will interrupt client phone calls and take them over. She is very condescending about it. Whenever she interrupts me or takes over the owner gets upset at me. I thought I wasn’t learning well so I started being more proactive (asking questions; keeping notes, etc) but it just made things more aggressive. For context I had no training when I started this role I was just kinda thrown in and told I would learn as I went.

At first told me she was just trying to help so owner doesn’t get mad at me. But then things got weird. Like she started giving me false information on processes that I would get in trouble for. When I would confront her she would just deny that she told me anything. She also went thru my emails and falsified a conversation I had with another department regarding a client, which had the owner upset at me. I was baffled. Besides this she otherwise acts very nice to me.

My other coworkers have said to stick up for myself because she’s bullying me and has bullied others out before. Practically every person before me has left due to pay or bullying.

I am cutting my losses and finding a new job bc of this and various other reasons. Just want some advice on how to deal with this and keep myself together in the meantime. Also, just wanna know if anyone has experienced it to this level bc i feel insane.

I know there’s plenty of posts on here but I wanted to get the recent scoop. I am in process for wfh inbound/outbound sales. I want to know anything anyone can tell me about commission, work schedules, call volume, etc or just any other tips or info worth knowing before I accept any offers!!

What are the metrics like and are they hard to hit? What’s your commission averaging? Any call compliance or metrics I should know?

Thank you!!

Edit: any info on bonuses and health plans would be appreciated!

Auto Claims Adjusters-what’s your role like?

I’m currently in the application process for a remote auto claims adjuster role. I have read up a bit on employee experiences but I wanted to ask how it’s like working for this company, particularly in this role.

I understand the workload is busy which isn’t a problem for me. I strive in fast paced environments. The way I read it is you get assigned claims and work through them rather than just handling inbound calls.
So if you’ve been in this or you’re in it, what’s your day to day responsibilities? Is it more call center like or do you genuinely have assigned claims in which you manage their lifecycle?
How is management and PTO?
Workplace culture for remote?

Thanks!! I’ve seen a lot of bad things but a lot of good things. Moving into this role would give me a pay boost.
