I know there’s a lot of toxicity in general with the game, but I’d like to thank this community, you helped me to complete my sprite collection, I’ve received so many kindness and help. You are amazing 🤩

For the people who want to visit Ecuador but have peanut allergies, be aware that lots of Ecuadorian dishes contain peanut, and it’s the base of the dish so it cannot be subbed out. Some examples:
\- Viche
\- Ceviche Manaba
\- Corviche
\- Sal Prieta
\- caca de Perro ( traditional sweets, which are peanut covered with caramelized sugar)
\- Cazuelas
\- Colaciones
\-Guatita

Forgot and added:
\- Aji
\- Papas con cuero
\- bollo de pescado
\- llapingachos
\- Sango
\- Encocado Manabita
\- Tonga
\- Caldo de Bola de Verde
\- mostly all cuisine from MANABI

The word to ask for is “Mani”, also be aware in the Amazon for Sacha Inchi, that’s also peanut. Here anaphylactic allergies are almost nonexistent, so there are no “peanut free zones”, not even in hospitals. If you go to a restaurant you can say you have an allergy so they can properly separate utensils ( reputable places adhere to the rules) but be careful with small neighborhood places, especially outside big cities. If you need it, bring your epi pens from home, you won’t find them here ( we use epinephrine ampoules if needed, but again, we don’t have anaphylactic allergies here).
You could also print this phrase and show it to restaurants: “ Tengo una alergia grave al maní, no puedo comer maní, salsas de maní ni alimentos que hayan tenido contacto con maní. ¿Este plato contiene maní o se prepara junto con alimentos que llevan maní?”

So, I have been reading a lot of posts, saying that the timeline does not make sense, or wether Daisy is or not Nicole. Here is my theory with all the points people mention and their rebuttals.

Let’s make it simple. Daisy is Nicole, period.

- But, the producers said she’s not?

Show runners can and often lie about these things, specially such a major spoiler. They probably want the book fans vs people who haven’t read it to be in the same page. Remember Game of Thrones? They spent 3 years telling us Jon Snow was >!dead, and he turned up to be alive.!< So they could very well lie about this. Next:

- Daisy and Agnes are the same age

Says who? Agnes does not know how old she is and even made a remark saying how hard it is for her to pass the time. She barely remembers Tabitha, much less June and Luke, and it’s easy to lie about ages and birth. Agnes could be very well 21 and none the wiser, even the actress for Agnes is in her 20s, so don’t come with the argument that she doesn’t look older than 16.

What about her period?

It is specifically stated that Gilead girls are considered fortunate when, and if they get their period. Historically girls have gotten their periods later in life depending on nutrition, hormones in food or just genetics. She could have gotten her period later in life. Daisy lives in Toronto, eats processed foods and even smokes, it’s very well possible that she got her period way earlier in life than Agnes and be more mature.

But Daisy was with Holly/Luke/Moira, why would she be left with Melanie and Neil?

Again, we don’t really know in universe how long it has been, Holly was an activist, never the maternal type. She could have given Nicole up, or something happened to her, same with Luke and Moira, remember that Gilead actively tried to get Nicole back whatever means possible, even after the Waterfords were done for, so they probably decided to give her up as a precaution.

June would never send her other daughter back to Gilead?

June, the same June who went back several times despite the danger to her life and the possibility of leaving Nicole an orphan? June who sent Nicole with Emily without any guarantees that they would make it? June who left her with Holly again and again just to keep fighting, even in the end? That same June?

But June said that Melanie got Daisy as a baby in diapers who kept crying?

Toddlers can still be considered babies and use diapers, and its more likely for a toddler who has a bit of notion of what’s happening ( is being abandoned/ handed off again and again) to cry nonstop, compared to a baby who generally have no awareness of what is going on. Also, June was not there when it happened or it could simply be a lie, to make Daisy feel that Melanie and Neil were her parents. Daisy was grieving atm and felt her life was a lie. That passage was June trying to be kind.

Now, the points that do make it make sense.

June ( let’s entertain that she was saying the truth) said that Daisy was born in Gilead, and smuggled out, that’s why they want her back. Agnes/ Hannah is older than Gilead, so if they are the same age it’s impossible for Daisy to be born in Gilead/ smuggled out as a baby. She must be younger than Agnes for that to make sense. This is why the argument that she’s a kid on the angel flight also does not make sense because: A. She was a baby on that flight which makes her younger than Agnes anyways so it’s simpler for her to be Nicole. B. She was one of the older girls. Then she would remember and have awareness of what was going on, remember some of the kids even missed Gilead. Then the “baby in diapers” makes no sense. Same with Charlotte. Also, I don’t think that Naomi would put any effort in getting charlotte back after giving her to Janine in the last episode.

Who is the one baby that they used so much for propaganda, the one baby they tried desperately to bring back? Nicole. It does not make sense for the show to make it a whole point if it were going nowhere, why would they want Daisy if she were not Nicole. Also, why would they hire an actress that looks so much like June if she wasn’t going to be related to her in any way?

TLDR: Showrunners can lie, Daisy is Nicole.
