Beach dayyy makeup 🏖️☀️🌊

Went to the beach with some friends today and did some fun makeup! We went to eat some pho and dim sum after - what a lovely time. 🥹🍜🧋

Also, my new milk tea wig is coming on Sunday and I can’t wait! I bleached my brows even more to coordinate better. And after I see the true color of the wig I’ll be ordering some Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Coloring Eyebrow EX brow mascara (gal-approved) and some spray to add a root shadow to the wig and make it look less… wiggy.

Okieee - I’m off to scrub the day off and clean my lashes like a responsible lady. 😂

Have a great weekend everyone - do your best! 💝

What made you fall in love with gyaru? (≧◡≦) ♡

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately as a baby gal, and now I’m really curious about everyone else’s story. (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

🎀 What made you want to become gyaru in the first place? Was there a specific moment, or did it happen over time?

🎀 Were there any things you loved growing up that you think led you here? Like certain media, websites, celebs/influencers, magazines, music, fashion, or just an aesthetic you’ve always been drawn to?

🎀 What is it about gyaru that really resonates with you? Is it the mindset, creativity, community, or something completely different?

🎀 Do you feel like gyaru changed you as a person, or has it helped you become more aligned with the person you always were?

I’ve realized that the more I experiment with gal style, engage with the community, and learn about the history the more I feel like I’m becoming the version of myself I’ve always pictured. It’s made me realize I’ve probably been drawn to a lot of gyaru-adjacent things my whole life without even realizing it. (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈)

I’d love to hear everyone’s stories! ♡

my birthday coord 🎂

Here’s my cute and simple birthday coord/makeup! 🎂 I was going through it a bit with some birthday blues, but nonetheless I prettied myself up and that did help me feel a bit better.

Picked up some treasures from fb marketplace (including a heart wall shelf and a new shoe shelf). Can’t wait to glue roses, lace, and sparkles all over them! (*kira kira*) ✨

Muscat grape boba🧋 and some takoyaki later I do feel like the day improved significantly. Thank you to everyone here too - your support and kind words really brighten my day! 🥲

Cheers to another year of gyaru friends, kicka*s makeup, and GAL ATTITUDE . (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈)

any tips for dyeing/shading fake roses? 🌹

I scored a box of pretty nice looking fake [most likely polyester] roses for gyaru DIYs (accessories, furniture, ect). Any tips for dyeing these to the colors I want?

Like for a solid color should I use Rit polyestor dye or can I just use food coloring, kool-aid, ect. Also, if I wanted a gradient/color tipped petal like the 2nd pic how would I achieve a permanent/pretty result (i.e. won’t bleed off with water/rain)?

Thank you for all the tips in advance! 💖

More dramatic eyes for errands today 🌺

I have a lot to do today at home, but still wanted to experiment with a bolder liner. I love the look IRL, I’m just adjusting to feeling like my lashes are so heavy. (Bees kept thinking I was a flower. 😅🐝)

I am picking up a box of fake roses for DIYs also, which will be the highlight of the day. 💐

Anyways have a great week everyone. Do your best! 🌻

Lash mods + oily crease tips for Hooded Eyes?

I want to achieve makeup very similar to the inspiration photos posted, but I find that I have two main issues:
- I get oily creases that rub off my makeup making it look less polished,
- even dramatic lashes don’t look as full on my short, straight lashes.

I’m not sure exactly what I’m doing wrong 😑 if you have some specific techniques or tricks that would help please share!

(Last two pics are of me for reference. 💖)

Lolita Article from Shojo Beat (August 2007) 💜

I wanted to post this for nostalgia purposes!

Reading Shojo Beat in middle school with my best friend is one of my core memories, and also the beginnings of my j-fashion education. Even though I always loved anime, I didn't have names for the styles I was seeing until SB.

Hope everyone enjoys! 😄

New Hair + Roma Gyaru ་༘🌷.ೃ࿔☘️

Got some new hair pieces today, and they look so cute!!! ♡(˃͈ ˂͈ )

They are all (half-wig, bangs, and curly rope wig) from Amazon for <$50, and the quality is pretty good all considering. I am interested to see how they wear over time, but so far I am in love! メ૦メ૦💋

I plan to buy a 2nd rope wig for length + a short half wig to create a teased/curled bouffant to place over the rope wigs to help blend them in even more!

Couldn't resist doing a little roma-inspired photoshoot for you guys. °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
