Is it bad to choose a Supply chain management job despite having a B.E in Mechanical Engineering degree?

I'm 23, ssc cgl from 2025, no income (gonna join a shitty job in my hometown, so i could keep studying. Staying away from home while working i don't have time to study)

I'm asking mainly because Zoho's office is only about 2 km from my hometown. I had an opportunity to join ZSGS about a year ago, but I didn't apply because I was worried about Al replacing software jobs and the long-term security of the career.

I currently work as a mechanical engineer around 600 km away from home, and I don't really enjoy the work. I actually like software engineering, so I still regret not giving ZSGS a

try.

I'm now getting thoughts to apply for the next batch, But I know definitely this is not the right time.

Do ZSGS graduates generally stay at Zoho long-term?

Has anyone from ZSGS been laid off/terminated?

If someone with a B.E. Mechanical degree gets laid off from Zoho after several years in software, how difficult is it to find another software job?

Is Zoho experience enough to overcome the dis3advantage of not having a CS/IT degree?

Given the current Al/IT job situation, would you still choose ZSGS in 2026?

I especially want honest opinions from current/former ZSGS students, because I want to know whether I made the right decision by not joining last year-or whether I'm making another mistake by considering it now.

I completed a regular full-time B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, but during most of my studies I was working full-time. My college managed my attendance, so I only went to campus for semester exams.

Now I came to know about the attestation form, and it asks me to disclose all previous employment.

During my college years, I worked for three companies. All of them deducted TDS, and one also deducted PF.

Should I disclose those jobs, or leave them out because they overlapped with my full-time degree?

If I disclose them, could the overlap between my education and employment create issues during background verification or the attestation process? Has anyone been in a similar situation?
