Missing meals and slow service in club world.

We only had 1 cabin crew serving our aisle on a 10+ hour flight. Food took about 2 hours to arrive, and they didn’t have multiple meal options. Welcome drink also took a good 20+ minutes after we boarded.

I raised a complaint expecting some avios comp for the poor service but they’ve just fobbed me off and closed my case straight away.

BA really is going downhill, and they don’t even seem to care anymore!

Amazing quality of food in Bali hotels?

So, I’ve stayed at plenty of 5* and medium/high end hotels and resorts across Europe. For the most part, I’ve found the food served at hotels to be medium to good level, think 5-7 / 10 rating.

I’ve stayed in 4 different hotels/resorts of similar standard to those I’ve previously been to in Europe and the food at all of them has really blown me away, like excellent top quality restaurant level food that I’m not used to getting at hotels.

Is this just coincidence or perhaps is the expected standard for chefs in Bali much higher than normal?

FTTP engineer missed twice in a row?

First EE let me book a weekend morning appointment which was missed.

Then I was told the weekend slot should’ve have been offered so I booked a weekday 8am - 1pm. Kelly group sent me a text but the no one has showed up again.

Anyone else had persistent missed appointments? I called EE and they said there’s nothing can be done. Incredibly frustrating how useless openreach and co are

Ways to hide doorbell Ethernet cable?

Looking to install a PoE wired doorbell in, most sensible place for the mounting of this is to the left hand side of the door.

I was planning to drill through the wall here and then run cable down to a PoE switch either on the floor or through the wall into another room.

I’m wondering if this is just going to look really messy, or there are any better suggestions on how I might do it? Could always try to cover up that corner with some furniture, mirror, photo etc?
