Just a few practice rounds on a rainy evening. This Skyler head has cloudy eyes, so it’s a perfect test canvas. 1st is plain, 2nd is closed mouth and pointy brows, 3rd is toothy grin and rounded brows with some darker contouring, 4th is more neutral makeup and a more nude lip with some highlight contouring. Which do you prefer?

I got this doll for my birthday when she was brand new, and lost her a couple years later on a cross-country road trip in 1978. I’ve mourned her all these years. Thanks to this group and other folks talking about their grail dolls, I have her again. I just healed a piece of my childhood heart.

(Sweatshirt dress and sneakers from the “Karma” doll I didn’t know existed, $5 at Ollies, fits perfectly. I tucked up the sweatshirt dress to be regular sweatshirt length. Sneakers will fit the Jr Sleepover dolls with flat feet perfectly, and heeled feel with a little bit of tissue in the heel.)

When on a long road trip, stopped just to see. Jr Krystal, Laurel, Holly with very pink eyes, one Sleepover Robin and three or four Sleepover Marissa. And TWO FF Sunny!

So I had to go to the pharmacy, and I see this cute little box of what’s probably meant to be kindergarten hair stuff, and there’s a pink clip why the actual MH logo on it, and I can’t pass it up, knowing how much Minnie Sue LOVES her MH dolls, so here we are!

Poor doll literally has two left feet!!!! I found out AFTER a heeled boot was so hard to get off I wound up breaking it 😭

Melody, Lydia, and Yarrow, cosplaying as their favorite show from when they were kids. Did I grab all three Powderpuff LOL dolls on clearance and steal their clothes? Yes. Yes I did.

Ok, I give in. She was _going_ to be a body donor, but I just couldn’t do it. So here is Elodie, the documentarian in Grannyvale. She’s Haitian/French Creole, and LOVES meeting new people. See, she’s even excited to get a selfie with you!

I got a Shimmer Bella on clearance for $5, because that’s worth it for the dress alone, and I figured I’d try the gimmick. LOL, the slime is a solid block! I dropped it on the floor and it bounced!

My Rainbow Vision dolls.

In Grannyvale, this is Zelani, Tori, Fiona, Tai-tian, Min Soo, Zahirah, Sen Binh, Elodie, and Zoe.

Zelani, Tori, and Fiona are the Celtic folk-rock band Corvidae, Ta-Ti and Min Soo have sung together a bit but it’s not their whole deal, and Zahirah is studying opera. Sen Binh, Elodie and Zoe don’t really sing, although Zoe does love a good beach-side karaoke.

Updated to be better, and I wish I could edit the images in my other post. I do wish MGA had given them any sort of reasonable names besides "Watercolor & Create Blue Eyes" Do you have names or nicknames for them, or do you use their MGA name?

Ok, real talk: how many of us _thought_ we were going to dye their hair and just fully have left them white? I am having Trouble with choosing how to color their hair!!
