How would you keep your cat from kicking out so much litter after they bury their business?

How would you keep your cat from kicking out so much litter after they bury their business?

I have an automatic litterbox and I’m looking for options to keep the litter, well in the litter box, funds are tight so trading this out for a different one is currently not within budget. I’ve looked at some shields but cannot find the right one. It’s a Robotail auto litterbox

Super cuddly cat after spay

I had my cat spayed on Wednesday(Day 2) and she normally comes up to the bed to “pester us” and lay down for maybe 5 minutes but she’s been hanging around, lying down more since her spay, will this be permanent? I know she’s currently seeking comfort and reassurance from us but I’m praying it’ll be a permanent behavior as I loooove a snuggly cat.

What I can do to dampen the sound in this room so my boyfriend doesn’t have to change rooms?

My boyfriend is really invested in Overwatch and tends to be loud because he yells AT the game, I don’t want to ask him to move rooms but it is really overwhelming after an already long day at work and I would like to just unwind. What can I do to make it more enjoyable/comfortable for both of us? I’m a streamer and he is constantly being picked up by my mic as well.

Vet Called/Scheduling Appointment- reasons why a male cat may occasionally urinate outside of the litter box?

NOT ASKING FOR MEDICAL ADVICE but hypotheticals to help explain to my vet:
edit to add: I also just wanna know why my cat is primarily using the litter box but having accidents outside of it.

I 23F have a 2 year old neutered male cat that I believe is urinating outside of the litter box. He is usually very good about strictly using the litter box but I have recently found a few places where he has gone outside of the designated area. What might cause a male cat, non-behavioral(there has been no changes to his routine, his food or his environment) that might cause him to occasionally go outside of the box? It’s only been 3 times I’ve found that he hasn’t gone in the litter box so I’m not sure if there IS an underlying medical issue. I haven’t noticed any stains in the carpet or any odors in the home indicating he’s had more than those 3 instances but what can I do to clean any areas that he MAY have gone that I just can’t see??

Update to SSA took my state tax return of $815 for an overpayment that occurred in 2022

https://www.reddit.com/r/SocialSecurity/s/pPNKtK66mc
I was 18 and still in school when this overpayment occurred(balance of $3000) and I had no access to the account to report this, my parents also weren’t aware they had to report this. I also don’t see how me being in school would allow benefits to continue after 18 as I’m a legal adult at this point. Whatever. Not the question.

I recently received a call back regarding my waiver for said overpayment and they have waived my debt but it went to my father. He would be unable to pay his bills/fall on financial hardships if they took a percentage of his social security so he has also requested a waiver. Pending approval/denial

My question though is, I’ve read somewhere and have been told that I would be refunded that $815 if I was found not at fault. Is this true? I would call to confirm but it is so hard to get ahold of them, I was on the phone for hours trying to contact them regarding when and why I was overpaid.

Would this function the same as a half pad and plain pad without the extra layer?

This is going to sound like a mess and that’s because it is

On 05/02, when I bought my new saddle and met with the trainer that was selling it, I really enjoyed her personality and we seemed to \*almost\* have the same attitude so I had asked her if she traveled for lessons and she said “yes” so I told her I’d speak with my barn owner about it and report back. Later that afternoon I spoke with my BO about bringing in an outside trainer, it absolutely did not go well. Here’s how the conversation went
Hey *T* I can’t remember if it’s in the barn rules but are we able to bring in outside trainers or noooo(kind of that unsure elongation of a word)
T: I mean… I would prefer that you didn’t *awkward chuckle*
Me: Okay! That’s all I wanted to know. (Was fine with that answer)
T asks me why I was considering an outside trainer and said she would need to meet her….
Me: When I met with her I really liked how warm she was and… I don’t know, she’s well versed in several different disciplines.
T: well I’m sorry if I gave you any reason to think I’m not warm(taking it REAL personal)
Me: *awkward laugh* I mean I think you’re warm as well it’s just, I don’t know(by this point I was upset and ready to drop the conversation so I didn’t give her the exact reason *see indent*)

T starts going on about having to allow others to have an outside trainer if she allowed me to have one, would gain no business, if I want an outside trainer bad enough I can just move barns that allow outside trainers(there literally are NONE here, it’s so dry for an equine business) repeated this several times while frustratingly putting together a bridal due to being deeply hurt or just mad at me, literally wasn’t my intention, I just had a question and was fine with being told no as her barn her rules. I only started to get upset with how she delivered her spiel as her tone was rude

I don’t want to use my barn owner because she is rather unprofessional, a great trainer but really unprofessional, I watched her give a lesson and she asked for feedback on how the horse felt, the rider said “he feels decent”, the rider had to repeat herself because T was not paying attention, after all that I flat out told her why I won’t use her. It’s personal preference. *literally tells me I’ll learn to do what’s best for me*

Now our relationship is extremely strained and will not offer ANY advice(literally said “Shannon, I don’t offer my help for free” and I offered to pay but she refused) because “we’re at that point” and she feels her advice is worthless or not welcome because she doesn’t know if I even want it(this came from me asking for help with the gullet)

I’m not a problem boarder AT ALL. At least I don’t think, I just ask a shit ton of questions.. when I do come out, I don’t say much but I’ll greet fellow boarders, I clean up after myself, listen to feed advice and deliver grain weekly. I had one instance in the entire year where I came off snippier than intended when someone used my tack trunk as a catch me all.

Will I be breaking that rule of no outside trainers if I go to said outside trainers barn to take lessons instead as she won’t be getting my “business”? I feel like the way she worded it, I’m not allowed to use ANYONE but her.

I have an older Stubbën Siegfried close contact saddle that I’m not sure how I should price. Apparently these saddles range between 350 and 750, possibly 1,000s if they’re in SUPER good condition and well maintained. I’m buying a new saddle on Friday and looking to sell this one for roughly the same price as the one I’m buying. I only bought it for 150 and everything is sound on the saddle.

Edit: thanks guys!! I’m gonna turn this into a bag instead of trying to sell it! If you know anyone in Michigan that does stuff like this, could you submit a link?
