First Vintage Christmas Tree

First Vintage Christmas Tree

This past Christmas was my first attempt at decorating our tree with mostly vintage, glass ornaments. There are a handful of sentimental ornaments on the tree that are not vintage. I believe only 3 ornaments broke in the process of decorating and also my cat. I can't wait to decorate it again this year!

[40/F] Pen pal Wanted: Snailmail and occasional small carepackages

[40/F] Penpal Wanted: Snailmail and occasional small carepackages

I am [40/F] in Missouri, U.S.A. seeking a pen pal from another country who likes to write and send/receive letters, and enjoys sending and receiving an occasional small care package. I am looking to pick this up as a hobby. My kids are mostly all adults now, and I find I have more spare time than I used to. We don't have to have the same interests. We can talk about anything.

Some things about me:

I enjoy reading, houseplants, going to thrift and antique stores, collecting old Christmas ornaments/decorations from other countries, Halloween, trying new foods and restaurants, movies, etc. I have never been out of the country, but I have always dreamed about traveling to Ireland and Scotland.

Please comment here or send me a DM if interested in writing back and forth.

Don't let his cute face fool you. Hermes is a menace.

In October, our neighbor found a litter of kittens with no mother and took them in. Made a free kitten post and here we are. Hermes is now 10 months old and as ornery as ever.

Dog Tail Cactus or Dragon Fruit Cactus?

The internet continuously gives me 50/50 answers, so I am hopeful I will find an answer here. I'm trying to find out if this is a dog tail cactus or dragon fruit cactus. I'd say the cactus is about a year old, so I guess not that mature. Thanks in advance!
