I found this shining on the beach today down in the UK! It looked like a gemstone so i picked it up!!! Anybody can tell me maybe? :D

Need help with dyeing my hair!!!
Right so im a natural ginger, its more of a light copper and i think of going dark red or dark purple, should i dye it? But the thing im wondering if when my hair grows again the roots would be ginger so would i have to top it up? Any help please?
