[routine help] sudden breaking out from routine

i’ve been using the same routine since march, i was less focused on it for maybe a week or two in may and my skin is still mad at me for it. i’ve been getting more bumps and blackheads pop up, and waking up with a new pimple most days (which never used to happen!)and have started to get some scarring :( my current routine is:

mornings: cleanse with prequel gel, use vani cream vitamin c, byoma milky toner, creave light moisturizer gel, i was using versed daily spf but hated it and just switched today. (i also wait for each product to dry down, and if im wearing versed spf i dont wear the cereve gel)

night:

oil cleanse for 1 min, emulsify 1 min, prequel 1 min, and then just the cereve gel.

[fully lost] breakthrough to literacy 90s-2000s educational software kindergarten

For 6 years i’ve been searching for the same lost media literacy educational program called “Breakthrough to Literacy” by Mcgraw Hill/The Wright Group, and ive never been able to find it, even though it was used for 20 years, in 40 states, 458 school districts, 1924 schools and 8837 classrooms. (i’ve done my research lol)

i’ve been searching high and low on many forums so i hope this one is okay and can get me some leads.

when i was in kindergarten i HATED being in the back of the classroom on the computers playing this game. i specifically remember hating getting graded on it (i remember a star system, it might’ve also involved a treasure chest?). after this id have reoccurring nightmares/dreams about it, and the mascot, for YEARS.

[info and game mechanics]

Some other info about this program was that we had weekly paper books that we’d read that went with the computer software, we’d also listen to cassettes of the books, we had the classic worksheets and discussions, i had a poster at my house related to it with stars on it, and even a plushie in the room that was the mascot (an elephant who i believe was named rainbow)

now from my research i know these were involved in the game (or the individualizes software instruction)

- listen

- think time

- thinking cap

- speak

- word puzzle

in 2022 i actually found paper versions of the “take me home” books that we read in class! This lead me to finding out that it was a program from the 90s-2000s and by Mcgraw Hill/Wright Group. After this I naturally looked online for hours and hours to find this cd-rom/software but i never found anything. I checked every possible second hand website, thrift store, and the wayback machine (I found their old website with some neat info, but nothing about the software, just that it existed.) Now i’ve been having genuinely monthly dreams trying to find this stupid program so I can remember what it looks like!!!

Fast forward to today, after 6 years there is finally ONE listing on ebay for it. (although it’s the pre-k version and from the 90s) except it is FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!

So basically I am desperate and confused. How could such a widespread used program for over 20 years, in 40 states, 458 school districts, 1924 schools and 8837 classrooms be lost media!? where are all the teachers who used it?! where are all the kids who remember it??

[sun care] in need of new non greasy non scented daily spf

hello all! i am in desperate need of a new face spf, right now im using the versed 50 spf and it leaves my face looking like i dipped it in oil and doesn’t dry down until an hour + after wearing it. i’ve tried to rub it in for a few minutes, but then it starts to pill (or dead skin?) and after leaving it for a few it’s still the same amount of oily.

im also very sensitive to the sunscreen scent as someone with migraines, and thats the only two things i really care about with a new product! is the hawaiian tropic face one okay? i love the smell of their products but its only a 30 spf. any advice helps, thank you!

video series about doll books from a chronically ill non reader ?

this summer i have embarked on a journey to read all the historical books up until kaya. i’ve struggled with reading all my life as someone with adhd/brain fog, and then being embarassed of my lack of skill. so ive decided to try different methods of reading/comprehension to see how well i can absorb slash enjoy these books as an adult. would anyone be interested in a video series of this journey? including reviewing the books, what methods i tried and how they worked, if they kept my interest, connecting it to my knowledge of the dolls, collections, and movies? maybe learning more about history too? so far i have read all 6 of kaya’s books and 3 of felicity’s and they have both been different experiences. would this be a series people would be interested in? o feel some kind of passion about doing it now, but want to gauge others interests too!!
