Recruiter knew something I have never mentioned anywhere.

Hey, I am a fresher so I needed advice. I had applied to a job on a portal and got a call back. This call was made for the purpose of conducting an initial telephonic screening. They accidentally called me by my mother's name and then corrected themselves. I have absolutely never mentioned my mother's name (or my father's name) anywhere and my mom has a unique name so it is difficult for this to be a coincidence. I live far from the job location so it is difficult for them to simply know my mom or something.

I know companies like to do a background check, but doesn't that usually happen after the initial introduction? This was my first impression of them. Didn't really like it haha. Am I overthinking this? Is this normal practice?

Okay Allos need to chill

I am a woman and Gray af (aroace) and I do not experience attraction the way Allos do. So, I tend to treat men and women the exact same. I am tired of Allo men assuming I am into them simply because I am friendly. This is like such an old topic I know, but I seriously needed a place to vent.

I believe I am considered somewhat mid, so I have an even weirder problem. Of course, desperate men chasing me is a problem as well. But my biggest issue is when they get the stupid idea that I am into them and then they have the audacity to GET OFFENDED. About what, nobody knows. When I gently explain my situation, they get offended about the fact that I DON'T find them attractive. What do you want me to do??

This has happened not once, not twice, but FIVE times (including today's drama). This has happened so many times that I have stopped approaching men in general. Genuinely even considered the possibility of me coming off as a creep because I really don't understand social cues sometimes, so I just don't try anymore. But you gotta socialize right?

I went to a birthday party today and was having an absolute blast. A friend of the birthday girl, a man I had never met before and had spoken to for maybe 20 minutes, suddenly asked me if I liked him.

I was like, “Oh wow, here we go again.”

I asked him what made him reach that conclusion, and he told me that I kept maintaining eye contact with him and that my eyes were “twinkling” whenever I spoke to him. Then he proceeded to tell me that he wasn’t into me and that I shouldn’t even think about it.

I gently told him that I am, in fact, aroace.

He got angry because apparently no woman had ever said anything like that to him before.

I am angry, I don't think you understand how angry I am.

TL;DR: I talk to an allo man for 20 minutes and he mistakes my interest in the conversation for interest in him.

Limiting beliefs

Self concept is great but still have limiting beliefs. You get me?

I believe I am aware of every single possibility that exists (obviously I don't). I believe I have limits and that I am very aware of my limits (when truly there are no limits). Sometimes my mind knows that I am accepting something way below what I deserve, but emotionally I cannot seem to understand.

How do you deal with this? I already listen to a subliminal about limiting beliefs but I need other tips. 🥲🩷

Results 🩷 (over the period of 3 years with this sub)

Note: I come from a small town, never seen wealth, so a few things listed here seem very luxurious to me personally. I genuinely believe I would have never had these experiences if it weren't for this sub.

So guys! I basically have been a huge baejin cafe fan for years now. I started listening to this particular subliminal ever since it was posted. And let me tell you, she works like a charm! Saw someone else post about this subliminal and believed I should too.

I'll list all the things/situations I manifested in chronological order:

  1. I got tickets from my friend for a luxurious theater in a city. I really wanted to watch the Barbie movie and I got to do so in this really pretty theater that had a LITERAL chandelier! Like those huge chandeliers I saw in movies. The seats were so comfortable. They were spacious and had a recliner, if the movie had turned out to be boring (which it didn't) I could have slept there.

  2. I was a student back then in 2023, wanted to pursue higher education so I had applied to a bunch of different career seminars/lectures to get a better understanding on which college to enroll in etc. One such seminar was suggested by my school and it took place in a luxurious hotel and my school took the entire responsibility of transportation and everything. That was my first time ever visiting such a hotel, God was it the most beautiful place ever. And that was also the first time I ate at a 5-star hotel. Remember that I said my first time. (I have included pictures for this. The mirror selfie is LITERALLY the bathroom. And the one that is like really dark and the only thing you can see is the light is the elevator! I never knew an elevator could be this aesthetic.)

  3. I had graduated around this time and had applied to a few colleges and got called for an assessment/interview by this one college. The entire process took place in another luxurious hotel! It was freaking awesome. Couldn't take many pictures here because I was stressed for the interview lol.

  4. Got into the college I spoke about in the previous point and it was very far from my town so I had to live in dorms. I was really scared because I didn't know what kind of dorm would be allotted to me. Girl when I tell you it was like a literal flat. A well furnished flat, I didn't have to take ANYTHING from home. No tap water, but bottled mineral water to drink every single day?? Free high speed Wi-Fi, great food at the cafeteria (expenses already included in dorm living fees), the water there was so good my hair started becoming shiny and silky. Plus the entire campus looked like some kind of natural retreat. The classrooms were so amazing too, I had absolutely never experienced this side of luxury before. (Included pictures).

  5. Other (comparatively) smaller things: Received a merit based scholarship which covered a lot of my expenses during college, bought gold and silver jewelry, never had to pay for my flights (which btw even flights used to be a huge thing for me before this subliminal), bought clothes, shoes, accessories that are on the higher end. You can also notice that the quality of the camera increases tremendously because I bought a new mobile phone a few months back lol.

So, yeah that's it! I hope this motivates you to listen to subliminals!

Hair oils feel disastrous.

This was not the case when I was younger. I used to oil my hair and tie them up in protective braids every 3-4 days then wash it off. It was a whole routine and my hair used to be so beautiful and thick and long. These days coconut oil does not suit me. Like it won't absorb into my hair. Also, somehow my hairfall INCREASES when I apply oil (super weird stuff). What am I doing wrong?

Overcoming fear and shame for wanting something/someone in life

The title says it all honestly. In a way, I know that if I wish for something, I can give it to myself with or without magick. But the guilt and shame for wanting something really specific or maybe a specific someone makes me feel ashamed or even guilty for asking it. Especially if I truly believe, it is something I am unworthy of. People everywhere (especially on social media) love to throw around big philosophies and everyone always encourages people to not have a limiting mindset. But I do not understand this. Nor does it seem practical. Please share your thoughts on this, would love to hear new perspectives.

Magickal tea worked too well

I have been searching for a job: applying to job openings that I knew for sure were terrible (and I deserved much better), waiting for an answer from them and absolutely nothing came back to me for a long time. So I figured it was time for me to use different methods. That's it. I prepared tea in hopes that I would get good job opportunities and land a fine-paying job. And now I have a job opportunity so huge at my doorstep that I am scared I won't get the job at all! I was literally thinking whether I should even apply for the role in fact, but I decided it won't hurt to apply anyway. I was totally expecting it to just not work at all. But of course, it turns out they have invited me for an interview round.

It is a really respected, well paying job at a really good company and I do not feel ready for the same. No amount of preparation will help me for the interview. I am in disarray! I don't know what to do. I will be so sad if this opportunity gets out of my hands.

It was a very simple tea too. Just used cinnamon, ginger and clove in the tea while repeatedly saying my intention out loud. I made the tea 4 days ago. Literally. It worked in THREE days.

A bit confused, would appreciate some help

I am quite new to being a witch (10 days old to be exact lol). Even before I officially started my journey, for years I have found myself in oddly synchronous incidents that I could not explain logically. I have always attracted all sorts of bugs and insects towards myself, especially spiders and moths (always in extremely odd places too, the best example would be the time I was at McDonald's and a moth sat on my table for as long as I was there and flew away when I got up from my seat). Around that time, I am not even sure how, but I remember finding out that spiders and moths are believed to be associated with the Goddess Lilith. This was two years ago. I did not pay it much heed (mostly because I had misconceptions about witchcraft back then).

I went through a crazy rollercoaster of situations and the experience was highly transformative in nature, all while never ever worshipping her seriously.

Now that I have started taking it a bit seriously, something confusing happened. I had a dream. In that dream, I saw a presence (in the dream I knew she was a deity). She was so beautiful, she was wearing all white and a sort of light surrounded her. The light was so bright. And she liked accepting offerings that were white in color. In the dream I got dragged near her altar by a friend of mine and I was confused in the dream, not understanding who she was. My words can't do justice in describing how beautiful she was. She had a sort of assertiveness to her, she looked very independent and self-reliant. I offered her a white-colored sweet widely consumed in my country. I am still confused because whatever description I have read of Lilith, the deity in my dreams looked nothing like that. I have heard that she appears differently to different people but how can it be THIS different? And if she really was Lilith, then I would not have felt confused in my dreams. Plus I haven't read that she is fond of white-colored offerings. What did I even dream of? Am I being guided by a different deity and only finding this out now?
