portable ac vs split

i’m researching different ac options for my hostel room at uni and i wanted to know which option was better. i could get a 0.75-1 ton portable ac which would be easier to move around except they require an exhaust pipe which means it’ll be fitted through the window and i won’t get to open my window without taking the whole setup out. matlab it would be there permanently. however the pro is i wont be paying an extra electricity bill of THAT much compared to installing split. for split i’ll get a 1 ton and it’s definitely more expensive but once i buy it i can use it for the next 4 years comfortably and even after that i can get use out if it. the downside of split is that i’ll have to pay a lot more money since my university charges more per month for a split ac.

also with portable, im not sure about the upkeep and if its worth it in the long run. any advice would be appreciated, thankyou.

idk how to feel

got my braces off today and i think they did something wrong. instead of a normal bite im left with edge to edge bite. my main concern was my crossbite and my spaces and my spaces are all closed but my teeth sit right on top of each other like my upper teeth don’t overlap the lower ones. from my research, isn’t this bad? idk what to do now cuz my braces are finally off after 2 years but it looks really bad and my upper teeth are also way smaller than my lower so i just look weird.
any advice?

i hate my teeth now

so I’ve had braces for exactly 2 years and got them off today a few hours ago. I thought if I waited a bit I’d grow more accustomed to them and I would like how my teeth looked but the more i stare at them the worse i feel. I had very extreme cross bite and lots of gaps in my teeth (sorry I don’t have a before picture) and while the gaps and bite is pretty much fixed, my teeth somehow look way smaller than they did before? and I have a bigger nose and sharper features so the small teeth look awful and out of balance on my face.
my dentist says they are small because I had a pair of incisors missing so they had to move my canines next to my main front teeth and make those incisors. idk how it works but yeah that’s why my teeth are small but i hate the way they look.
What do i do?
