Got a weird one for you guys, a few years ago i brought some ram 2nd hand as part of a cheap pc deal, and all of a sudden i started getting post issues where it would not get past the ram light, but reseating it in opposite slots and wiping cmos would fix it. it’s always had issues with two of the leds where the red doesn’t show, and out of curiosity i took the stick apart and pulled the rgb out completely, and it works absolutely flawlessly.

question: what would be the cause for the faulty led and crashes, and is there anything way to fix this?

found this locally on facebook, so far i have managed to talk it down to £150 but personally i don’t think it’s worth more than £130 given its current state, but the guy won’t seem to budge. what would people on here advise me to do? :)

Just wanted to check with a community which probably knows their stuff, I currently posses a non working unit, and I have someone interested in buying it off me to get it repaired. Before I agree, is it like super rare or good quality and am I making a mistake by not getting it serviced and keeping it? Thanks.
