Gyms
Why do so many of the gyms here refuse to list their monthly prices? I gotta dig super deep/make a whole account to even see what the $ is.
Any reccomendations other than equinox in the area? Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance
I am looking to move to Williamsburg soon and wanted some general advise from people regarding it. Great vibe from what I have seen but want to make sure that I am not missing anything/other areas. I am 24 and work remote, thought that this was a lively, young place - kind of like Lower East Side Manhatten.
Do you like it there? Regrets? Other areas that are like it? Thanks guys.
My buddy and I (both 24M) are looking to move to Williamsburg as soon as we can after visiting. We are both from Florida and loved the vibe out here. Looking to get into an apartment more on the west side of things.
I have damn near 100k steps on this NYC trip and have been to a lot of areas trying to get a feel for things. We both liked the liveliness here and are pretty-much sold. We did, though, go out the other night on the lower east side manhatten and that was a straight up vibe - really enjoyed it and liked that Williamsburg is such an easy subway ride to there. Really can't afford lower east side LOL rent (that I have seen) is nuts there. only other place that i feel like has somewhat of the same vibe as Williamsburg.
I guess I am just looking to get some advise from this r/ because I don't want to make the wrong decision by not considering some other areas. Do you guys like it here? Do you regret any certain parts of it/am i overthinking? Thanks in advance for the help.
I’ve got about six recessed light cans where the bulbs/trim won’t sit flush—they’re all slightly off (too deep or just crooked).
There’s nothing electrically wrong, it’s just the positioning of the cans themselves that seems off. Is this something that is run into often? Did I just get unlucky?
And in a situation like this, what’s the typical fix—adjusting something inside the can, adding spacers, or is it usually a bigger “replace/reinstall” job?
I am 24 years old and am currently sitting in the most brutally boring zoom meeting of all time. I have some years on and off now working as an independent insurance adjuster and feel like I have the golden handcuffs on. I make 35$ an hour right now and it ends up being so much more than that granted that i could leave a voicemail and bill .2 (of an hour, 1.0 being a full hour), send an email back and forth with someone and bill .4, reports take me 20 minutes tops and i typically bill 1.2 or more for them. I work from home and don't have to check in with, really, anyone. I just have to keep up with my claims and make sure that i am touching them often and working them towards their closing. I work maybe 5.5/6 hours a day and bill 10 hours each day. When i hit the 10 figure, i stop working for the day.
This job is a mindfuck for me. It is the first "big boy" job as some put it. Other than this, I did some cold-calling gigs as well as restaurant-type jobs. So, i feel like this is the direction that I have begun to take my career and feel somewhat trapped in this insurance world (I also know that i am young and have plenty of time to make a change as well, though).
That being so - if there was something i liked about this job, it would be the investigative nature of it. I like to think that I could find a job that does more of that without it just being paperwork and title transfer processes. Maybe I would find this more fulfilling too, granted that I am currently working on behalf of some of the biggest companies in the world to help with car accidnets. I don't find anything fulfilling about this. I worry that I am getting complacent as i get better/faster at the job. I need to make a change and actually contribute to the world as opposed to just work as little as possible to get done for the day.
My friend and I talk often about moving to New York to get out of our hometown and make a change and, because i really want to do it, i feel like i can never quit this job because rent is expensive there and I want to keep making at least the money that I am currently making. But the other part of me is asking at what cost.
Maybe someone has some advise for me? Thank you in advance.
Anyone else using the Mane Spray from Ro and find it incredibly hard to apply? It feels like the only way this would work is if I had a straight buzz cut.
Any tips on how to apply this stuff?
