What’s your favorite recipe for Blood Angels red?

Experimenting with many different reds, these are just a few. Trying to find the sweet spot between speed/efficiency and overall finish. Can’t decide on a final color/ method of painting.

I have had a hard time deciding which color recipe I liked best for my Heresy era Space Wolves.

Factoring in the difficulty/speed of each method is what lead me to choosing this one, and I have to say I’m very pleased in the closeness (IMO) to GW’s artwork.

This is Grey Seer primer - Basilicanum Grey - layer of Dawnstone - all over wash of Army Painter Runic Grey speed paint with a 2:1 mix of medium.

I haven’t finished this mini yet, still have to add highlights and what not. Happy Painting!
