Need you to understand the KB philosophy

Hi everyone,

I'm new to kettlebells and trying to choose the right adjustable one.

After years of PPL training with adjustable dumbbells, I've grown tired of constantly changing the weight between exercises and focusing only on bodybuilding. I recently switched to calisthenics and love the emphasis on strength, stability, and skills.

I'd now like to add 1–2 kettlebell sessions per week to build strength, explosiveness, technique, and longevity.

What I don't understand is the kettlebell philosophy.

Do people with adjustable competition kettlebells change the weight for every exercise?
Before each workout? Every few weeks? Or only when they've outgrown a certain weight?

I'd like to learn all type of KB polyarticular movements, but I'd rather avoid adjusting the weight throughout the workout to stay focus on training.

I'm no longer chasing muscle size—I just want to become stronger and more capable.

I'd really appreciate your advice. Thanks!

REP vs Zeus Adjustable Kettlebell

I've known about the REP Adjustable KB for years and have always wanted to try it.

I've just discovered the Zeuz, which has the same design and weights as the REP but costs half as much.

Has anyone ever tried the Zeuz Adjustable KB?
Should I avoid the Zeuz and go for the REP instead?

I couldn't find any feedback on it.

Thanks!

Alternative to the Basebar Pro from Baseblocks

I'm in a real dilemma because I need a low pull-up bar like the Basebar Pro, but I can't find a direct competitor.

Why not just take the BB Pro?

I've read some reviews about the poor quality of the product, and it looks really unstable in the YouTube videos.

I've already looked at Gravity, Gornation, Pullup&Dips and Eric Flag, but I can't find the right product that will last over time.

Looking forward to your advice!
Thanks 💪

I live in an apartment, can't drill into walls, and don't have space to store a large pull-up station. I'm searching for a freestanding horizontal bar, at least 130 cm high, suitable for L-sit pull-ups, tuck pull-ups, front lever progressions, rows, and other calisthenics pulling exercises.

Looking forward to your advice!
Thanks 💪

« Climate change is real » comme ils disent.

Best Free Standing Low Bar for sitted Pullup?

I’m looking for a 90>110cm height bar to use in my apartment.

Baseblocks seems to be the perfect product, particularly the Basebar Pro model because of the foldable legs, but I saw posts on Reddit about the thin steel that they use/poor quality and that makes me reconsider this brand…

I have the Pullup&dips mid height parallettes and they are build like a tank but they don’t do freestanding low bar.

If you have good experience to share with yours or good brands to give me, I’m aware!

Thanks

I’ve worked in agencies for 12 years and I’m recently unemployed.

For now, I can’t find the energy to look for a new agency.

After being out of the creative circuit for a couple of weeks, I find that all commercials seem the same, and ironically, I am not motivated to find better ones. Commercials seem pointless to me now.

I’m doing some freelance work, such as naming, brand signatures, creative activations, and finding creative billboards or small brand ideas. Managing this small business is a good short-term job, but I’m struggling to find new clients to makes it a mid-term job.

In the long term, working on the brand side might be an option, but when I look at job descriptions, I feel like I lack a lot of competencies.

Have any copywriters made the switch?
