Wharf? Marina? Morgan?

Hi! We are expecting a little girl this year. First baby. Would like something with an easy spelling. Dad is a sixteenth generation charter fisherman so he loves anything ocean related.

Marina is nice, but it feels too obvious to me. I have always loved the name Morgan but it's too common. We have been discussing Wharf. Is this too out there? We got married on a wharf, so there is some connection beyond the actual construction aspect.

What are y’all thoughts? Wharf vs Marina vs Morgan… any other ideas?

The car he died in...

My husband took his own life in 2023, inside his car.

I never saw the inside of it personally, I couldn't do it...but my father in law saw it and he said it was really, really bad. I was so lost when it happened, so I called the insurance company to try and figure out what to do. They told me it would be totaled because of what happened, but since it still had a loan on it (in his name only, not mine) it was probably best that I just let it get repo'd, so I did.

I know there are biohazard cleaners and all, but it wasn't an amazing car to begin with...it was a shitty little Buick that wasn't worth a whole hell of a lot. I figured since it was totaled due to a man dying violently inside it that it wasn't worth the trouble and they would just scrap it for parts or something...

...Apparently not.

There was a coupon in the mail today from the chain where he got his oil changed, addressed to him. It says some shit like "NAME, we miss you!" and then, "you last got your Buick's oil changed on 12/11/2025, at 90k miles"

Two and a half years after he died the car gets an oil change. Which means the car he died in is just...out there...somewhere. Still driving around. Getting regular maintenance. Some poor soul is driving the car that my husband *died in*. Do they know? Is that something you have to disclose to people? Probably not, right? It's probably not like when you buy a house and they have to tell you whether or not anyone has been murdered there...regardless, whoever has it now, I hope they at least got a great deal on it because *fuck.*

Ever since he died, everytime I have seen a shitty little Buick driving around I have thought "is that his car?" but I've always immediately shoved the thought away because it was *impossible*, and it turns out it wasn't.

Idk what else to say about it. It's just...crazy. What a weird fucking life this is.

Munch Squad

I have recently seen a lot of people complaining about Munch Squad and saying it needs to end. Of course, people are allowed to not like things (well, some things, just not this thing...more on that later), but a lot of the complaints I see are "if I wanted to learn about fast food, I'd just read the press release myself."

And like, that's not the point of the segment? Justin doesn't just read a press release and that's it. He picks a press release, reads it with no perceivable interest, and the brothers (my close personal friends) riff on it, riff off each other, make fun of the product, and mock corporate culture and capitalism. It's more than just, "reading a press release."

This bit also happens to be Justin's Autistic Special Interest, which means if you don't like it, you're ableist. And that makes you a bad person. Doing this bit with zero enthusiasm every week, years after he wishes he kicked it into an open grave and left it there to die, makes Justin's Autism Happy. Don't you want his Autism to be happy?

(before people comment about me "diagnosing someone I don't know", Justin is my close personal friend, and his wife, Sydnee, who is also my close personal friend, confirmed on that other podcast they do that while not officially diagnosed, Justin more than likely is Autistic), and hey, I for one I am happy to spend 10 minutes listening to the bit if it means making my best friend's Autism happy (even if that friend doesn't know I exist).

can anybody let me know if their neighborhood taco bell serves breakfast and where that location is?

my husband's birthday is next week and he *loves* taco bell breakfast, but all the taco bells closest to us no longer serve it. the taco bell app says there are a few in Nashville that have it, but the last one we tried did not in fact serve breakfast and it was a sad morning.

i'm hoping i can get at least one confirmed location so that i can surprise him lol

TIA
