Georgia On My Mind - Solo Jazz Guitar Arrangement
Tried my hand at a solo arrangement of this tune. I find it hard to do solo arrangements of ballads sometimes so this is a good challenge for me.

A few choruses over There Will Never Be Another You. A classic "overplayed" tune that I still love! Using the FeelBook brought some life into playing this tune :)
Do you guys use the app? Do you know of any other apps like it? I so much prefer playing to this than iRealPro.
I have been challenging myself recently with trying to have perfect timing on every note I play. This is, of course, basically impossible but it is still something I strive for regardless. I want to be able to play with absolute rhythmic clarity, and it is something I'm always striving for.
My question for you all: What types of things do you work on to improve your time feel? For me, I'm always trying to listen to players with excellent feel (Jim Hall, Metheny, Charlie Parker, etc) and I also work a lot with a metronome. Are there any specific things you all like to include in your practice?
Also, here's a few choruses of me playing over Mr. P.C. by John Coltrane with timing in the forefront. I am able to spot so many mistakes and inaccuracies in my playing, but that is part of the process :)
Hi all! This past year I have been challenging myself by making 1 new solo arrangement of a jazz standard each week. This week I worked on the tune "Everything Happens to Me." What are some of your favorite ballads? I want to add more of them into the mix.

Last week I was introduced to this beautiful tune. The Sonny Rollins and Jim Hall version is incredible! My arrangement is very much inspired by it.
Hi guys! I always want to find and learn new tunes. What is your favorite Chick tune?
Also, here is an arrangement of Windows a friend and I just made. I'm so happy with how this turned out. The sound of guitar and Rhodes together is magical to me! :)
Been working on this arrangement of Samba do Avião by Antonio Carlos Jobim. The way this song is arranged on his Inédito is absolutely incredible. I tried to keep it true to that general arrangement with some of my own variances.
"Four" by Miles Davis arranged for sax and guitar. Such a classic, wonderful tune :)
I've been working on this solo arrangement of the tune "Speak Low." I'm not sure how this one fell under my radar for so long, but I'm really glad I rediscovered it! Such wonderful changes and a beautiful melody. Do you have a favorite version of this tune? Would love to check some different versions out :) Thanks!
Hi all! I have been working on arranging the tune "Boplicity" for solo guitar. Surprisingly difficult to do! This tune has always been one of my favorites off of "Birth of the Cool". Are there any other versions of this tune you guys like? Would love to find some more :)
Hi all! I've been working on the tune Canto de Ossanha the past couple weeks and wanted to share the arrangement I landed on. What are you favorite lesser-known bossa tunes? I'd love to work on some more.
Hi all! Wanted to share an arrangement of the classic "Wave" by Jobim.
What is your all-time favorite Jobim tune? I think mine (at least right now) is Dindi.
Hello everyone, I've been working on this arrangement of the beautiful tune "Summer in Central Park" by Horace Silver. I stumbled upon this tune and was blown away by it!
What is your favorite Horace Silver tune? I'm looking for some more to work on!
Hi all! What is your favorite jazz ballad? Recently I have been working on My Foolish Heart and it's one of my favorites. The Bill Evans version turned me onto this tune a while ago. That turnaround at the end is just too beautiful.
I've been working on the Jobim tune Chega De Saudade the past few weeks. Landed on this solo arrangement :) What is your favorite version of this tune?? I go between Jobim and Joao Gilberto
I wrote this tune a few years back, and I decided to try a duo arrangement of it. I love sharp 11 chords so they are featured a good bit in this :)
Hi all! Wanted to share my arrangement of the standard Just Friends. I've always loved this tune. The melody is incredible. Was feeling really inspired from a Ted Greene video I saw recently.
I love playing melodic minor over the minor 4 chord. Any other tunes you guys know that has this change? Would like to practice this more :)
