Hey guys, got my new cherry red lowells last week, love them!

I used the wonder balsam on them after a few days as I read somewhere it can soften the leather a bit for break in. Anyway, I didn’t realise until til a couple days later that during the polishing it seems the dye rubbed off a bit and stained the stitching.

Anyone ever encountered this issue before and have any advice for getting the stains out? I did try the warm water, dish soap and toothbrush technique, however, I chickened out as the stitching is so fine I don’t want to fray it.

It’s not the end of the world but just wondered if this was a common issue and if there were any remedies.

Ended up getting it for $750 AUD/ 515 USD, has approx 3300 hrs on it.

Pretty excited as I’ve been trawling marketplace for a couple weeks looking for a deal and it finally payed off!
