PSA: While The Crunchyroll US Store Is Broken, Use Legacy.Rightstufanime.com To View Account History

The version of the Crunchyroll US store that went live today is broken practically across the board to include viewing your open orders and order history.

However, Legacy.Rightstufanime.com still uses the database of the old Crunchyroll site and can still be used to view your account and history in the meantime.

EDIT:...if you had a Rightstuf account before they were merged with Crunchyroll.

What's Going On With Crunchyroll Store Not Shipping Blu-Ray Preorders?

I always preorder blu-rays the month they start accepting them.

However, lately it seems on release day they just list them as backorder, ship copies to stores, but not ship me mine.

I pre-ordered Alien Nine back in March 2026, but 2 months after its June release I've have enough and had support cancel it since other places like MediaOCD never ran out and still had copies.

Now it seems like it might happen again with Dragon Ball Daima (pre-ordered since January 2026) and the Miss Kobayashi Dragon Maid movie (pre-ordered since May 2026).
I've seen even used video stores and vintage media shops carry them, but mine haven't even shipped and they're both backordered on Crunchyroll.

Also please, I've already heard enough of "don't order from Crunchyroll" comments and the soon-to-be store paywall might ensure I won't anymore.

USA Video Release Recommendations

I try to collect all home video releases of anime/movies made by Osamu Tezuka and ones based on his work, but I think I might have completed it aside from anything out-of-print.

Does anyone know of any that have released in the United States and isn't out-of-print that I might have missed?

Collection Of Over 25 Years

This is actually my "Eastern Animation" collection as I don't separate the Chinese nor South Korean animation from my Japanese animation collection.

In this collection, I also include animation that was outsourced to Japan, like Little Nemo, Thundercats, and the old Transformers show.

You can ignore the few non-Eastern animations like parts of the video game adaptations category, the Japanese live action, and Avatar.

I spend absolutely $0 on streaming and subscriptions, but I more than make up for it by supporting physical media.

Of what is seen here, the categories they are separated into are:

  • Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki
  • Osamu Tezuka
  • [ignore] Japanese Live-Action

How Would These Do When Graded?

I know that none of these, except maybe the Eon Ticket, would get a 10.

That aside, how do you think these would do when they get graded?

These would be my highest earners if in a fantasy land where all of my cards would be 10's.

I just want to make something back after shipping, grading fees, PSA consignment, and 1099 taxes.

Trying to sell these for cash to avoid a 1099 is not an option as I don't have the time to figure it out or to do.

I'm in Missouri, so I already know the threshold is $600.

Out of about 100 cards I'm going to get graded, I'm only going to send Clefairy, Gengar, Latios, and Jirachi to PSA myself and send the rest through Gamestop in batches.

Since I heard you can't do PSA eBay consignment if you send through Gamestop, I'll just have to sell them to Gamestop, despite how garbage their offers are.

I'd also appreciate any related advice you think I might need.

Questions About Gamestop Submission Options, eBay Consignment, & Taxes/1099

Finally influenced by all of the Pokemon card-selling news stories, I've decided to offload my collection I've had sitting in storage for 23 years.

However, due to the number of cards and how little free-time I have, I need to choose the option that requires the least amount of work on my part.

What I've decided on is to ship any cards valued up the amount Gamestop insures them for to PSA, through Gamestop.

For any cards that exceed that, as if they were a 10, then I'll ship them to PSA myself.

Then, I'll sell all of the cards through PSA's eBay Consignment.

However, before I do anything, there are a few things I need to get answers/advice to.

  • Any cards that I send to PSA through Gamestop, do I still have the option of using PSA's eBay Consignment while they're still there?

I'd really rather not give who-knows-how-much to the government from selling cards I've bought with allowance money as a child decades ago, so my biggest concern was the federal and state thresholds before I'm expected to pay them a cut.

I'm in Missouri, where I heard the limit for a state 1099 is $600, but PSA is located in a different state.

  • If I sell cards through PSA's eBay Consignment, will I be sent a state 1099 based on my state's amount threshold or PSA's, what state does PSA sell out of, and what is their state 1099 threshold?
  • Will the fees eBay and PSA take out of the amount the card sold for still count towards either of the 1099 thresholds?

I heard at one point the threshold for a federal 1099 was $20,000, but I also heard it changed a couple times over the years recently.

  • What is the current threshold for a federal 1099 in the 2026 tax year?

If the federal threshold is still high enough, if a state 1099 is based on PSA's state and if their threshold is high enough, then I'm fine with pausing my sales until right before I hit that amount and resuming next year.

I file my own taxes through a free tax service, but I'm not confident in my knowledge to do anything more complex than my usual 1040 and I don't want to have to pay H&R Block hundreds after I finally managed to stop using them.

For clarification, I have no intention of buying or trading for any cards.

I just want to offload what I have no use for that's just taking up storage space and paying my car off a few years earlier.

I did open a PSA account, bought new binders, penny sleeves, and semi-rigid sleeves in preparation after getting some advice from a co-worker who does sell cards, but he only sells through Facebook Marketplace.

I know I could just Google some of these questions, and I still intend to, but I like to cross-reference answers from multiple sources and some people on here seem pretty experienced and knowledgeable.

I'd appreciate any related advice that you think I might need too.
