New AppleTV Plex Amp Client - Caldera FTW

Just discovered this 2 days ago... WAS subscribed to Playris, but that thing is too buggy for me so i had to dump it.

Caldera is exactly what I was looking for. Essentially a Plexamp application that works on Apple TV. Simple interface, easy search, premium audio quality, even has a working milkdrop visualizer (Playris says it has it, but i could never figure out how to make it work).

Oh, and it's a free application to boot.

Eight Week Update! (First Time Grower)

Coming along, Serrano is loaded, Jalapeños is getting there, habaneros and YOLO peppers are flowering, but no fruit set as of yet.

Weber vs SNS Kettle

Had a storm rip through my neighborhood last month, and my fence took it out on my 10 year old Weber master touch. I rehabbed it, sort of, new legs and wheels but it’s a little bent out of shape.

Considering picking up a new one. Wondering what the build quality is of the SNS Kettles. If it weren’t for the fence, my Weber was in great shape, living outdoors with no cover. No rust, no issues. Wondering how the SNS kettle compares. They have a few quality of life improvements I really like.

I'm a Plex whore. Been streaming my own content going on 12 years now. One thing that is a bit of an issue is playing music from my library through my Apple TV. For some reason my Onkyo receiver does not play nice with it. Subwoofer doesn't seem to pop on for some reason, I tinkered with it, and i can manually change the settings, but then reverting back for movies can be a pain.

I use PlexAmp as my main streaming application in the car, and even stream to smart speakers throughout the house..... But there's no native Apple TV app for plex amp so i'm wondering what my options are?

Anyone use a raspberry Pi as a streamer? what's the consensus? I mean, I have the CDs, and a shit ton of records, but sometimes i don't feel like swapping discs/records. either working or doing chores... It's nice to just hit a playlist and go...
