Hey Ugandans

Today is my last day here after spending 3 weeks here in lungujja and spent some time in Sembabule for my Kukyala.

As a white man from UK London I've truly had a wonderful time, moving around on my own always felt very safe and welcome.

I feel like this is now my second home and want to say thanks for the warmth and hospitality.

I will truly miss Kampala and hope to return soon.

In the Uk

My friends wife just sent this to him, found in the kids room.. Looks pretty big for a spider found in the UK..

8 months on..

Rescued this lil rascal, wasn't easy, trust me. But I stuck with him as he had been through a lot.

Now here we are, he's been neutered and since then he's gone from an anxious and scared cat to a happy relaxed one..

I was more of a dog man but lil spud has converted me.

Spraying cat

So 4 months back I rescued a cat who was then I was told 7 months old.

The poor thing took a while to get used to his new surroundings and for the first 3 weeks I never saw him, only knew he was ok because he was using his litter box and eating. I was at home so we got a bond going. I went back to work around 4 weeks ago and since then we've had problems.

He was just picking at his food, I made a post for advice on this previously but this got better. Now he's going through a spraying stage and honestly I can't cope with this.. My appointment reeks of urine, he is literally spraying my face when I'm sleeping, this has happened 4 times, he sprays on the wall next to the bed while I'm laying next to it.. He is booked in for his vaccinations next week and then I'll book his Neutering in then.

I understand he will then calm down but any advice on how I can cope with the spraying in the mean time.
