Might be an insane question about charging a EV vehicle

I am looking to getting a Mitsubishi outlander phev, so it is a plug in hybrid. The battery capacity in the thing is smaller than a regular EV car at 20.0 kWH. I would charge it from home with a level 1 charger which just plugs into a standard household outlet. It will cost me about 4 bucks to charge the whole battery which gets me about 45 miles. If I wanted to charge this thing off grid with solar panels would this be possible?! And if so how much would it cost me to set this up? Thank you!!

**i know little about batteries, electrical, etc so I am sorry if this is a silly question

Can someone help me understand the trims on cars, looking to go camping, is the SEL worth it?

Hi all! Was looking for a toyota sienna for monthly camping trips for 2 adults and a baby but the prices are NUTS. I see the outlander might be a good fit and I would love a hybrid car. I dont really understand trims of cars, and I figured I would get the most basic budget version of the outlander PHEV. I currently drive a 2012 so I am NOT concerned with all the bells and whistles lol. However I was seeing the SEL offers a generator or something? I read something that it can be plugged in to ground power at a camping spot? I also understand the SEL comes with a more luxurious interior (which I do not care about) but if its the only way to get the ability to plug in, i would be very interested. Can you help me understand this? Thank you!!

Your thoughts on best minivan for families who want to camp out of it?

For anyone that takes the time to answer thank you so much!!

Hi all! I was looking into getting a 2020 toyota sienna, they seem to be about 30k for lower mileage ones. I would like a hybrid however the sienna hybrid does not allow the 2nd row seats to be removed and this is a MUST since we plan to camp out if it. So anything post 2021 is out since they all seem to be hybrids. I see I can get other brands of minivan that almost new for not much more than 30k so it had me questioning. Maybe the toyota should be out!? What are your suggestions on minivan I should get and year? Here is some criteria:

-2 adults, 1 infant

-third row must stow and go, ideally the same for middle but at least must be able to remove them

-ideally around 25k

-would love hybrid

-We currently drive a 2012 accord, and its currently 2026 lol so all the bells and whistles are NOT important to us

-would love it to be super reliable

-more niche but if anybody knows, when your floors go down how flat are the floors? we plan to sleep out of it with trifold mattresses so curious how the sleep is lol

Thank you!!

Heartworm question

My sister skipped December, January, February for heartworm for her dog, she was not aware it needs to be given in the winter, she lives in NJ. She is now informed she should give year round, so no need to lecture but the question is....if she gave her dog the heartworm med in march, april, may, june (4 months) should she wait the 2 additional months until testing for heartworm? I read the heartworms will only show on a test at 6 months, or should she go soon to get her pup the bloodwork test? Also if her pup has had no reaction to 4 months of meds is that a good sign that even if the dog has heartworm it isnt too bad yet? Thank you!!
