It's been awhile! Let's see what improv books you have. Which ones are your favorites? Which ones didn't speak to you as much as you would have hoped? What are you looking forward to getting?

Improv jams and/or shows in Minneapolis?
I'll be flying to Minneapolis and will have July 13th through the 16th available; I've heard EXCELLENT things about the improv scene there, and was wondering if there'd be anything to check out, or any improv jams I could hop in to stretch Ye Olde Braine Muscle?
I'm still riding this high and wanting to share, so forgive me. We did a show this past Saturday in Columbus Ohio called "Indy & Lindy's Indie Improv Shindigy", where we had 12 different independent improv teams/troupes/performers all from central Ohio come, and for five hours we ran this festival. It was 100% free; we asked the audience to donate to the Mid Ohio Food Collective if they could, but they didn't have to if they didn't want to.
Not a single team/performer went over on their allotted time, and believe it or not we raised $1,072.54!
I'm just in absolute shock. Everyone was amazing, the audience was great (since we didn't sell tickets, we couldn't track how many people came, but we know it was at least 50, which considering the room comfortably holds 30, I'll take it!); we had short form, we had long form, we had it all!
The only downside was I was exhausted by the end, and we were the last team to go up, and my improv was TERRIBLE because of my energy level. Lesson learned!
Keep being awesome, improv, and same to you, C-Bus.
