I'm new to marketing and sales in a professional setting. I started as an intern, but the guy who was supposed to be teaching me up and quit so now I'm stuck holding the bag, which gives me a great opportunity that I'm really trying to not screw up.
May 30th is the day of the brunch with the last day to buy tickets being next week Tuesday. I have 13 tickets sold and need to sell 30 to have the show go on. I have 4 different restaurants, each with about 10k on their email list. I have sent my creatives to those 40k emails. I have also had my web developers send an email to their email list (idk how many). I've utilized Facebook and Instagram. Check presenters, and flyers in doors, bathrooms and community calendars. I don't understand how after sending this to this many places I've only got 13 sold.
I don't think the creatives are bad and the menu looks tasty. Maybe I should ask r/askmarketing but I figured wine-not ask here.
It's a 5 course wine brunch with J vineyards for $85. One of our local competitors is doing something similar for like $250.
I do marketing for a restaurant and my managers will often send me pictures of the food. Sometimes they look great and I feel comfortable sharing them. Other times, most of the time, they just look like colorless globs. Plating isn’t generally the issue or maybe it is. I’m just trying to get like 6 or 7 employees learned on food photography, myself included.
I just need to sell 12 more so my boss doesn’t hate me. I’ve sent emails to over 40k people. Facebook, insta as well. Flyers and check presenters. Idk what to do.
Mine is 0.
Hey New York, the bags on you.
What do I do?
I’m selling tickets to an $85 wine brunch. 5 courses, delicious menu (I guess).
I’ve never been really into country music but after Yung Gravy dropped Serving Country I’ve got a little more interest in it. At the end of the song there’s a voice recording of a ma welcoming the Gravy Train to country music. Calling him “hoss” and referring to country music as “sport”. If he’s an artist I’m hoping to listen a bit more.
But the burger in the photo they’re asking me to collaborate isn’t my restaurants burger. There’s also chips on the side but we don’t do chips. Should I accept the collab? What do I tell my bosses?
