That Berlin Mart post the other day sparked some interest in this legendary institution. Here's some first person footage of a walk about. I can still smell the pretzels, stripper perfume, sauerkraut and cheap electronics.

How to replicate this "finish" from the 1970's(?).
House is from the late 1800's, I'm presuming douglas fir trim, yellow pine floors. All in all, it looks decent and antiqued from a distance, except for the few failed areas. I'm just curious how it was initally applied.
