Hello all!! You may recognize this script from a few days ago. I really wanted to rework it to fit more of a princess voice, and I had so much fun doing so! So, here she is! I hope you all enjoy <3

Summary: After mysteriously finding yourself in a fantasy kingdom, a kind-hearted princess allows you to stay with her as you attempt to find your way home. After watching you bury yourself in research day after day, she decides it’s time to coax you away from the library, hoping to give you a brief escape from your worries… and for a chance to get to know you a little better.

Usage guidance:

• 2256 words WITH stage directions
• Feel free to use on any platform, make small edits, and add/swap/remove genders if you want! For example, “my lord” could easily be changed to “my lady”.
• All SFX, voice direction and sounds are really just suggestions. If you want to change the delivery from what I’ve put in, please feel free!

Summary: After proposing to the human who so kindly returned your coat to you, you’re mortified when he reacts with shock and confusion. Even so, he listens to you kindly and returns to the beach to hear your story. Instead of rejecting you outright (you have come to learn that there is far more to the human courting process than previously thought) he suggests a first date. With nowhere to stay on land, you accept his offer to stay at his house that he shares with his sister. Somewhere between quiet, comfortable conversation and the sound of the sea, the two of you drift off into sleep.

You slip into your human skin, dance beneath their lantern light, and wander their villages. But you are always careful. You have been warned to never lose sight of your coat. In human hands, it is a tether; something that can be hidden, used to bind you to the land forever. Without it, you cannot return to the sea. Which is why it surprises you when a human finds it… and gives it back. In your world, that act holds weight. It is a promise to protect you, honor you, something close to a proposal. If they have honored your customs, without even knowing them, then it feels only right to honor theirs in return…
