Basically, Sweden joined the Central Powers because the pro-german AVF party won the elections in 1914 and if you mix being Pro-Germany, Sweden being affected by Britains naval blockade and a fear of Russia you get a central powers with Sweden. Italy joining was pretty simple; they were promised Corsica, Former lands in France Peidmonte-Sardinia had after the Napoleonic wars, Trentino, a referendum in Südtirol, (58% wanted to be Austrian) Istria and Trieste, Albania and Kosovo, a Greek puppet, Tunisia, Malta, Gibraltar and the two Somalilands (French and British).

This happens because Mosley left Labour when the government collapsed in 1931 and he was decently popular in the years before he left. In 1932 he made the BUF and after a shock, he won the election in 1935 abolishing elections. In 1938 they saw Germany annexing Austria and decided to invade Ireland. When the war started, they only declared war on France after the fall of the Benelux, quickly navally invading it and setting up Anglo-France as a puppet as Germany made the Burgundy SS state. When Barbarossa started the Soviets invaded Iran on their own and Britain helped Iran, allowing axis troops to get to the caucuses very quickly. Britain set up a colony in Armenia and Azerbaijan. Portugal and Spain also joined the axis in this world.

I found this flag in the fire rises (a hoi4 mod that takes place in the 2020s) this flag comes from a path for France after a communist Russia defeats nato. All of the paths you can go down as France in this path are fascist (except for 2) and this is one of them I think. I obviously know that it’s a European flag but what does the cross mean?

I’m aware that Germany in Africa is unrealistic but they didn’t gain Allat after the war only their old colonies + the Belgian Congo (they gained the rest after the outbreak of the British civil war)

It’s 1948 and the world couldn’t have taken a worse turn…

1939: The Second World War starts, Germany destroys Poland in a month. In 1940, Denmark and Norway fell, Chamberlin resigns. France and the Benelux were next and with the British failing to save troops in Dunkirk Halifax somehow managed to convince Churchill for peace. Germany also gained former colonies in Africa along with the Congo. 1941: Yugoslavia fell, Barbarossa started. The Soviets were shocked they couldn’t keep up with the speed of the invaders. After years of offensives and counter offensives Leningrad and Stalingrad fell in 1944, then in 1945 Moscow. Stalin was killed by SS officers who stormed his office in Moscow. And being attacked by Japan now too, the supreme Soviet took power but not for long; Marshal Zhukov managed to coup the supreme Soviet. After the war, the axis split: Germany and its Reichskommissariats, Slovakia, Denmark, France, Serbia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria formed the Reichspakt. Italy and its colonies, Albania, Greece, Croatia, Spain and Portugal Formed the Mediterranean pact.

After Britains Defeat in 1940, Churchill resigned and a general election was held with a Labour landslide, Attlee the new PM. He held power and fought the Japanese in Asia until they gave up in 1944 with the Collapse of the British Raj. Britain was in shambles, they were broke, humiliated twice. Then shock, 1946, George VI had been Shot and killed by a Communist. The royal family fled to Canada. The British Civil War began. The fascists, led by Moseley, the communists, led by Pollitt, the government, led by Attlee, the Scottish and the Irish.

Africa, the Germans, Spanish and Italians took their respective colonies after the war and the continent was relatively peaceful until the British Civil War. All British colonies declared Independence, some were absorbed by Germany Italy and South Africa, others were peaceful and the worst of all, some had conflicts. The Nigerian Civil War began; The Islamic Republic Vs The Christian Kingdom. The Italo-Arab war: Italy Vs Egypt, Palestine and Jordan.

In the Middle East, the Kingdom Of Arabia remains strong after they unified the peninsula in 1947. Iraq absorbed Kuwait after the BCW began and the Italo-Arab War rages on.

In Asia, South Asia is split into 4 due to the collapse of the Raj. India, Pakistan, Baluchistan and the Japan-backed Burma and Azad hind. Mao Zedong managed to flee to Xinjiang through the USSR saving his life and his movement and Ho Chi Minh is staying there for now. The hope for a communist east Asia is still alive. Japan is the hegemon over East Asia, there isn’t one nation not in the Greater Co-Prosperity Sphere. China fell in 1944 along with the British there and the pearl harbour attack still happened and the US was included in the treaty of Tokyo (1944). Thailand has gained their empire bringing it the title of the strongest in south east Asia. All the other nations have been subjugated by the Japanese however. In Manchuoko and Menjiang, they fought the Soviets from 44’ til 45 gaining Mongolia and outer Manchuria respectively.

In the Americas nothing happened except the Dutch government in exile in Suriname and the French in Guiana. The US and Canada are jointly occupying British colonies in the continents and Argentina have taken the Falklands.

Kinda weird game because the eu capitulated after I finished off France Germany Iberia the Benelux and northern Italy didn’t even have to take Rome or London. Still had fun.
