Does anyone have any suggestions for a live blogging solution? I was using 24LiveBlog and as of June 2026-- WordPress booted them for security issues. It was a decent product and I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a paid subscription.

I run a news website and our live blogs generally are for sporting events (24 was strong there), boring council meetings, and sometimes other breaking news events.

I found out today as I tried to set it up for a college football game and ended up getting Arena to hold me thru the game. But it was worfully inadequate --most liley because I had zero time to learn or really explore it.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I know Armadillos is closed now for a "rebranding" as they work through some licensing issues. But heard yesterday that it will reopen as a country and western bar called Maverick.

Will a C&W bar be embraced in Annapolis?

This has been a hot topic around Annapolis and Anne Arundel County with the growing use of Flock license plate cameras.

On September 8, Profs & Pints Annapolis is hosting Steven Keener, Ph.D., for “The Road to Mass Surveillance,” looking at license plate readers, privacy, surveillance, and what happens to all that data.

What do you all think? Impressively big.

Although I was under the impression that the batting cages, golf sims etc were enticements for you to come and shop.. I did not realize they were revenue generating and you needed to ereserve and rent them

I have a pair of tickets to each show. If you'd like to go, shoot me a DM and I can hook you up.

I have a 2026 Forrester Limited and for the life of me I can’t get the home link to open the garage door. The manual does not cover it very well and I do not have an additional remote to program it so I have been trying to push the learn button on the opener and then have home link recognize it, but it doesn’t

Does anybody have a step-by-step to help?

I have two tickets to see Who's Bad ( a MJ Tribute band) at Rams Head On Stage on the 19th.

And also 2 to see Royale Lynn on the 16th!

Anyone interested? DM me your real name and what show you want, and I'll hook you up! No catch. But first come first served!

Wonder if this is just me or a new policy. I logged in today ( I am a digital only subscriber-because they could not figure out how to reliable deliver a print edition). But today I go to read an article and I get blocked saying it is only for PRINT subscribers and offereing me to subscribe for $6.99/week.

Anyone else seeing this?

OK, no guarantees that the 55+ crowd will be seated with 55+ here. In fact, we don't guarantee anythoign about your seat mates beyond having a fun time at great seats at Rams head On Stage. And unlike a local dinner club, we don't chargew you $15 to make a reservation and then make you pay for the meal. No, these are FREE tickets-- but your booze and nosh are on your own!

So who is up for a show? Send me a DM here and I may hook you up. I will need a real first and last name and which show you want to see.

My 2013 ES 350 just threw a check engine light and a Trac Off indicator. The transmission seems off, and it has been somewhat sporadic over about 20 miles. Sometimes it is slow to start and revs and then catches up. Sometimes (often below 40MPH), the RPMs creep up, and there is a hard shift. Once over 50MPH it seems pretty normal.

I have an appt to have it looked at tomorrow, but anyone have any thoughts?

And TIL, there is no transmission dipstick.

I know they have their own sub but it sucks.

After the most recent update, My u/jetpack social has eliminated my ability to select a post NOT to share to Facebook. There used to be a toggle in the right column just before publishing, and it is gone. I click the Jetpack Icon up top in the menu bar, and Social is not listed. I try to access the SOCIAL page from the left bar, and the page opens blank.

I have been going back and forth with support, but it is like a day between replies from them. We have tried different browsers and private windows. Cleared all the cookies and Cache. Disabled all plugins. Reverted to the core theme with no plug ins. Always getting the same result.

It is posting all new posts to FB regardless if I want them to go or not. I need to go into FB and delete them which sucks. Anything that was scheduled before the update is still operating properly and not posting if I had it toggled to not post.

Anyone else seeing this behavior? Any thoughts or ideas?
