Underwater b&w stills from Catalina - A1 + 24-70 2.8

Spent a week freediving from a sailboat on the channel side of Catalina Island. Shooting here is absolutely gorgeous, the area is teeming with wildlife and seals. You’ll swim through some 50 foot tall kelp forests, then 10 feet beyond that stumble upon sea cliffs that drop into the abyss. The water is cold, visibility is solid, vibes immaculate.

Logging at Bowls with Matt Vasquez last week (oc)

Got the chance to shoot with Matt Vasquez (@ unofficialmatt on IG) last week and scored some pics during a little early season southerly pulse. This guy is an absolute legend and overall great human being, and also happens to be a super talented Longboarder!

Shark Photo I took freediving a few miles off the coast of O'ahu

From an album of 200 pictures during this dive, this one is my absolute favorite. The way the shark is dead center in the frame, fins equidistant from the borders, and the pure symmetry of this apex predator just gets me stoked. Hope you enjoy!
