Checking in: Tyson’s Tacos from mid to bad

I live nearby and occasionally enjoyed a few menu items. Ordered for the first time in a year on Monday and the decline was noticeable from the moment I opened my food. Just the color and the whole vibe of everything were off. Low energy and no longer tasty.

Warning: Southwest Airlines does not consider Autism a disability

According to the new seating policy, I have to pay more to choose seats. I don’t care where I sit, but I need to be next to my son to regulate him and help him with the restroom and other tasks since he is motor impaired.

I just called customer service to get seats together (any seats) the evening before we fly. They told me that Autism is not considered a disability according to their seating policy, and that she would get seats for me this time, but I would should select the higher fare next time.

We flew Delta two weeks ago and they didn’t bat an eye at the same request. Last time ever we will fly Southwest.

Big city Texan here, in awe of your state

Visiting this week- Truly stunned by the quiet and beauty. Just the loveliest people here too. Vibes unlike any other.

Can you imagine my shock driving away from the airport and seeing multiple craft stores and Maple syrup stands before I saw a grocery store or a gas station? Let alone a traffic light.

Then I come to Reddit out of curiosity, and learn that y’all can’t find proper services to repair your charming old homes. Moreover that development has been legally shut down since the 70s.

I have been thinking deep thoughts about beautiful natural places that have allowed unfettered development. Are their economies booming, yes, but their magic is at least partially choked out by the consumptive zeitgeist of capitalism… gosh nothing is easy in this world

Thank you for being such great hosts. My son and I will be forever changed by this trip.

Don’t sleep on honey cake from Sour Duck

Top three treats I’ve had in 10+ years here. I would share a picture, but I ate it all. Texture, sweetness are absolutely on point and I always feel great after I eat it.

Is anyone else feeling a lot of feelings they used to eat?

I’m on a very mild dose, but my appetite is definitely suppressed. I don’t feel as much hunger, but I do feel feelings that I’m certain I normally would eat to get relief. It’s real discomfort and it comes in waves! Seems like a good thing long-term. Anyone else?

I saw 100+ people playing drums behind a pickup truck with a huge portrait of Our Lady of Guadalupe. 8am downtown
