Half of Boston's Blocked-Bike-Lane Reports Come From Nine Corridors

I realize "corridor" here is maybe a stretch, could call them hot-spot-smears. Thanks to everyone who's been reporting people parked in bike lanes in Boston on Bike Bureau and 311. Entering the next phase now where we get insights from the data.

Doubling the number of reports to Boston 311 overnight.

Bike Bureau one-click vehicle-in-bike-lane reports is now connected to official 311 channels in Boston, Brookline, Cambridge and Medford. In Boston the number of reports tripled overnight. For Cambridge SeeClickFix the number of reports is up 10x. Good job everyone - they should not be able to ignore this!

Chronic parking in the unprotected bike lane next to the Kenmore bus station

Reported by one of my friends mostly. Please people, join in and lets make the next graphic so cluttered with vehicles, capturing the real absurd scope of the problem that it will be so embarrassing they will be forced to act.

Bike Bureau now connected to Cambridge SeeClickFix

Thanks everyone for the feedback on my last post. Now when you report a vehicle in a bike lane on the Bike Bureau website/app, it automatically gets submitted to the actual city. This is a real-time screen capture so you can see how fast it is.

You have to log in with your google account to enable it, but you can choose to report anonymously (or add your name if you want that in the record).

By the way - we need an API key to connect it to Boston 311 and nobody is replying to my request over there ... if anyone has any tips please share.

Here is the link to make your own reports and/or see the list.
