I dont have this smoker yet. just researching before I buy

I will have this on a deck that is 6ft off the ground so any cleaning will need to be done on the deck

Just wondering what everyone does for cleaning and how often

Im coming from a WSM so I could just disassemble it and be ok. Th bronco will be a lot different

I have a billows already and I am debating on getting a Bronco Pro as my WSM 22in was damaged

For those who use this combo can you talk me through your ignition method? Currently I light the edge of the the charcoal ring (not in the middle) and give it 30-60mins to get to temp and it holds 225 for 18-20 hours with a full basket

Any issues with holding a consistent temp for 18ish hours? I understand 10-15deg swings

any other tips I should know about?

Researching a new smoker. What’s the difference between the pro and pro 2?

It’s 3pm I just put a 9.5lb pork butt on the smoker. Will be eating around this time tomorrow. I’m sure it will be done way before the. How long can I let it sit in the oven wrapped in foil in its own juices before shredding

It gets hot here when gaming and streaming. I got this fan to hero. I can control it from the phone but controlling it from my stream deck would be helpful too

Is this possible? If it is I cant find anything on it anywhere

Im planing a server build using parts from a gaming PC that is a couple years old.

It has a 12th gen i9 that runs very hot so I have a corsair 420 radiator on it, I tried a really good quality fan setup and it still overheated. Because ill probably use hand break on unraid I want to keep the water cooler attached

When using either of these cases in storage mode would the water cooler still fit on top? I understand I would lose probably 2 drives at the top of the case and that's ok. Im wonder if the radiator will fit between the panel and case when in storage mode. Im also trying to keep costs down for hardware and I didn't want to buy another cooler

I posted in the fractal reddit and didn't really get help.

I tried LMNT unflavored and it tasted like I was at the beach and got hit with a waive and swallowed salt water. hated it..BUT I felt better almost instantly.. dry mouth went away too so I want to start taking these more often but getting past that taste is hard.

I ordered some of their flavored packets to see how they are.i doubt they are the best while fasting though

Thoughts on something else I could try?

I have a Corsair iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid Cooler with a 420mm Radiator

If I get this case and configure in storage mode, can I still mount this Radiator on the top of the case and give up 1-2 drive slots at the top?

I plan to have 7-8 drives in this case and I would just start form the bottom and go up as I add more

Here is what im doing,

I have an old PC I want to convert to a file server. Im not wanting to invest anymore money that I have to so I wanted to use this current water-cooled setup and just move it over to the new case, add some drives, and call it good

I want to step up my grilling game. I normally don’t wait long and just get to cooking. Someday say wait awhile. Just wondering the thoughts of people here

I’m going to put a couple ssd and nvme drives in a new build. Which one should I put the os on?

I will also have a plex media server and I’ll mess around with VMs too since I can’t run VMs on my current server

My current build does t have any ssd drives so I’m new to this.

I plan to have regular hdd’s for storage.

Next week from Sunday-Saturday the wife won't be home for during food times so im thinking of doing a fast. Since it's a week away what foods should I eat building up to the fast to make it easier getting into it?

During the fast I was going to take an unflavored LMNT packet every other day and nothing else, unless someone says different

When I get to the end of the fast, if I feel like I could keep going should I be taking supplements or anything too?

Edit: I wanted to add, I have did some 3 day fasts before and I feel so much better so I want to go longer to see how I do

I have a couple drives I use for ripping disks. I’m wondering if I should disconnect them before I do an update so they don’t get a firmware update

Also, is there any downside with doing this update?

This PC does nothing but rip disks and handbrake

I want to upgrade to 10gb since I updated my network. Everyone was point to this card. Since it’s a dell card I wanted to see if it would be plug and play.

If I understand right I can mount a drive from another location just like a drive from my local network and upload as normal?

I’m considering an off site backup and this looks like a simple solution for migrating data I add in the future

they are a bit big and was hoping to find something smaller. Or something different all together

I have cat 5 in my house. Not cat5e. I’ll slowly start replacing these once. I get everything up and running.

For the switches to connect to the gateway I’m wanting to run cat6 or 6e. These will be done right away

Also I’m planing to run cable for some g6 ptz and g6 pro bullet cameras. This cable will be ran behind the siding

Should I get shielded or unshielded?

I was told to get cat 6 because cat 6a is thick and using on a camera is a pain.

I’ll use pass through connectors. Just are just easier.

Just installed this yesterday and used the orange adhesive

I also used Goo gone grate and grill cleaner on the smoker to clean the rim and it did go down inside the smoker.

I did not wash the grill after

Tonight I tossed in a fully lite charcoal chimney and I am getting a weird smell. im guessing it's just burning off the left over chemicals. I took the door off for awhile to make sure it got pretty hot. it was around 325 for awhile

Should I do 2 really hot burns?

If not how long should to smell last?
