I react to the word “bitch” like it’s a slur and idk if im overreacting

I wanna know other people’s opinions on this. Out of all the insults men use towards women, I think “bitch” is the one I hate the most. Something about it feels EXTREMELY degrading to me, probably because it literally means a female dog. I could write a whole essay about the dehumanisation of women, how throughout history dogs have lived to serve men, and how both dogs and women are seen as property, yada yada.

I have male friends who say it occasionally (not often), and every time I hear it I get super angry. Like way angrier than I probably should, to the point where they’ve taken it out of their vocabulary because they know I’ll block them for using it. I don’t even fully understand why it triggers such a strong reaction in me. I hate how normalised it is. I hate hearing it in movies, shows, songs, ect. Like i genuinely will refuse to listen to a song if a guy keeps referring to women as bitches, it disgusts me so much.

I feel like im overreacting a ton because I know it’s not actually a slur. I feel dramatic for reacting to it so strongly, and insensitive because i know there are groups out there that actually do have to deal with slurs being hurled at them on the daily. But at the same time, it just feels really disrespectful in a way other insults towards women don’t.

I want more feminine representation in AAA videogames

Before I get started, I want to say that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with masculine women.

I wish there was more feminine representation in big AAA games. It feels like femininity in female protagonists is often toned down or removed.

Think of Ellie Williams and Abby Anderson from TLOU, Sadie Adler RDR2, Female V from Cyberpunk2077, Atsu from ghosts of yotei, ect. They are all amazing characters, and I love them dearly, but they mostly fall into a similar “hardened, gritty, masculine, emotionally restrained” style. This itself isn’t an issue, however given the fact that there’s very little feminine representation in AAA games, it feels like it’s done on purpose.

It sometimes comes across like female protagonists are shaped to be easier to spoon feed to misogynists who already complain about female protagonists existing at all.

I think part of that comes from femininity being treated as weak, embarrassing, or not taken seriously. So female characters are shaped to feel more “acceptable” to wider (often male) audiences.

Meanwhile women have played games starring hypermasculine men for decades without acting like it ruins the game. I just want more variety and more feminine female protagonists who are still treated as competent, cool, and worthy of being taken seriously, without femininity being treated like a disadvantage

How to recreate this cute design as a hardened ornament?

This is my first time creating something out of clay and I came across this video which sparked my impulsivity.

This girl made some super cute Rilakkuma dango sticks, I’m assuming out of foam clay. However, she made hers to be squished for an ASMR video so she never fully hardened it. I want mine to fully harden so I can use it as a prop instead.

I already had some foam clay at home so I decided to try recreating it, but it didn’t go as planned. I used ground up pastels mixed with water to make a paste, then mixed that into the clay to create the colours I needed. The clay would sag once I put it on the skewer, and the hole the skewer made through the clay kept getting bigger until the clay just slipped down. I also tried making a tinfoil skeleton underneath, but the clay wouldn’t stick to that either.

What am I doing wrong and how could I make something like this properly? I don’t mind buying a different type of clay if foam clay is the issue. However I don’t understand how hers managed to stay in shape whereas mine didn’t

There’s been a trend going around where people people have been using a glitch that gives them a moving pfp, and every video I see about it has 100k+ likes. Do you think this could influence TikTok into adding it as a real feature? I’d love that.

I remember a couple years ago we could upload videos as our profile pictures, but people were exploiting it and posting inappropriate stuff, so that lowers my expectations of them ever adding it back. I still have hope though.

Ive been on 30mg of accutane since the 1st of April 2026. Since then, ive found it difficult to breathe through my nose. I CAN breathe, but it feels like my nostrils, especially my right one, are blocked. But I’ve been continuously checking and there’s nothing there. Sometimes, like now, my nose is fine and doesn’t feel blocked, but most of the time the only relief I can get is when I pull my cheek to the side, I’m guessing that’s opening up my sinuses or something?

Is this a side effect of accutane drying me out, or could it be something else? I did have a nosejob nearly a year ago, so I’m wondering if it’s that. However, I think it’s unlikely because my nose is almost fully healed, this issue only started the week after I began accutane, and there are times where I can breathe normally, so I don’t think it’s a permanent structural issue
