Anybody ever tried ART therapy?

My counselor has suggested ART therapy. Anybody tried it? What do you think of it? Most importantly, did it help with anxiety and/or PTSD?

Tips for sitting still

Anybody have any tips or tricks to make sitting upright for a long time (1 hour+) more bearable. I have a celebration of life to attend this weekend and I’m dreading sitting still for that length of time.

After a nap/sleep

Yesterday was a tough day. I had my evaluation at vestibular rehab therapy. And we had several errands to run in the car. Was “on the boat” bad yesterday evening. Had a good cry. I fell asleep around 11:00pm and woke up at 2:00am. I lied still and paid attention to how my head felt. No vertigo or dizziness after having it badly only 3 hours earlier. It’s around 4pm today and it’s been a nicer day than yesterday so far but still a little vertigo.

Relief for me

I have the vertigo where I feel like I’m moving when I’m not. I have found some relief rocking in my rocker/recliner. I think the movement somehow “satisfies” my vestibular system or maybe it confuses it. Just thought I’d put it out there. Maybe it will help someone else dealing with this horrible stuff.

Rocking and swaying

Do you “regular” migraine sufferers ever get the rocking, swaying, bobbing feeling or is that just vestibular migraine sufferers?

New here - Brain zaps?

Are brain zaps/ head shocks part of VM? I’ve had them when coming off an antidepressant but I haven’t changed anything lately. I notice them a lot when I move my eyes to the side. Ugh.
