Using my favorite low-spoon gourmet [lsg] way to make bulgogi
https://www.reddit.com/r/lowspooncooking/s/9Pbo9IGIl0, I adapted this Aaron and Claire recipe https://youtu.be/JzPdGy9U47U?si=vbeuioAm1zresm-B
I also used the low-water pasta cooking method (in a low, wide pan, cover pasta with water, add salt, bring to a boil, simmer until al dente). You could absolutely microwave.

I heard about labouyi mayi and wanted to try it, but I'm not a fan of cinnamon or star anise, so I made it with cardamom, coriander, saffron, and turmeric. Dried papaya on top for color and texture - delicious.
4 C water
1 C masa
7 green cardamom pods
8 coriander seeds
Large pinch saffron
~1 t turmeric
1 can coconut milk
Salt and cane sugar to taste (~1 t and ~1/4 C, respectively)
Boil 2 cups of the water with the spices. Mix the masa with the remaining water, then add it to the spice water once it's boiling. Bring back to a boil, then simmer 20 minutes, whisking frequently. Remove whole spices, add the rest of the ingredients, and reheat while whisking for a couple of minutes.

What if all this month, if you have to leave your home, you lie down wherever you are?
For instance, in a doctor's office waiting room, bring a pillow or a few, and lie down on the floor. Have someone with you who can take a picture, if possible, or just do it and if people ask you why you're lying down in public, tell them you have myalgic encephalomyelitis.
Also, lie however you're most comfortable, not necessarily face-down like in the photo.
