I have a mediocre one - I just passed 100 wins.
Someone I play with regularly has a great one - she got a 99 Strategy in one of our games recently. I was super impressed.

Our favorite veteran WR has been promoting his Dodo Coffee brand he and his wife created with friends in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
I’m a sucker for the Seahawks and buying things on a whim over the internet. So tomorrow am I get to try either the “Darkside” roast called Osprey or the Dodo Blend. Zoom in for the unusual but appropriate flavor notes for the Darkside roast.
Have any other 12s out there tried Dodo yet?
Go Hawks.
Driving 4 hours to the nearest theater showing the film in 70mm. So psyched!!!!! Seeing 1040pm showing. One night of hotel and driving back home the next day. Ok so maybe not The Odyssey but the longest I’ve ever travelled to see a first run movie!
I (M58) always assumed that people a few years older than I am (like my wife for example) are also GenX. But then I saw a subreddit called r/GenerationJones and went down the rathole to learn that there’s a slightly different generation sandwiched between us and the Baby Boomers. This now makes total sense to me. They *are* different. Generation Jones experienced the 70s more as older kids whereas we were younger kids and that changes your memories and perspective. And Gen Jones, though older, aren’t truly Boomers because they’re not, you know, old and crotchety and set in their ways :).
Do you have a marriage that spans the GenX - GenJones divide? Do you see a generational difference?
Did you sit by the record player and listen to one comedy album over and over? Did you memorize any album so hard you could almost perform the routines?
Mine was Steve Martin’s Comedy is Not Pretty. Not because it was the best comedy album in history, or even Martin’s best. But it was the one I got for my birthday when I was starting to listen to my own records (no longer my parents’) and it felt grownup and I loved it.
If you can air banjo along with “The Cruel Shoes” or joke about a man who secretly puts on men’s underwear, you love this album like I do.
What is the comedy album that you were obsessed with? Did you listen alone or with friends? Did it affect the way you behaved in any way?
What are you going with?
Post it in the comments, if you please, along with an explanation, unless it’s just ‘cause.
I’ll go first.
This album got me through a difficult year. I don’t listen to it so much as feel it. Every single song. So hearing it live in the same room as Counting Crows would be ethereal for me.
EDIT: amazing responses! I wish someone could catalog everyone’s ideas, rank the most popular ones, call out a few unique ones, etc. This is a goldmine of albums worth listening to.
Sometimes, while popping in my AirPods and launching Spotify, I drift back to the days of pulling 12” vinyl records out of large paper jackets and listening to music on vinyl. I get nostalgic for it and ruminate on the things I loved and hated about music on wax.
One thing I miss: liner notes / album art. Can’t believe how many hours I would stare at some albums. I distinctly remember getting lost in the eyes of the Beatles inside the double-record jacket of Sgt Peppers.
Something I don’t miss: as a little kid, when the record needle would reach the end of the record side and make a creepy scratchy sound, sometimes getting stuck there like the staticky “snow” that blared from the TV at the end of the broadcast day. Freaked me out.
You?
After switching to the New Outlook, I find I am unable to forward emails or reply to emails from other email accounts I own.
Next to the Send button there is a drop down From: box and it does show the other email accounts I own. But unlike the old Outlook which lets you stay in that email even as you switch to another email account, the New Outlook forces you to start a whole new blank email whenever you try to switch accounts.
Is there a way you know of to reply or forward to emails from different accounts?
I heard ChatGPT has released an app for Apple CarPlay and Google is rolling out Gemini to Google built-in vehicles.
Has anyone tried this in your Lucid yet?
I’m excited because I have lots of questions as I drive and I don’t always know how to use Maps or search or phone to easily answer them. Feels like having a single voice-controlled AI app one tap away will be super useful.
Imagine…
“AI Bot, how much time would it add to my trip to stop at grocery store X? Do they carry the brand I’m looking for?”
“AI Bot, how late is business X open?”
“AI Bot, build a playlist of 90s rap metal without Limp Bizkit and play it”
“AI Bot, find and play a podcast that will bring me up to speed on humanoid robots in China”
Etc. etc. etc.
