Car NOT dirty enough for rinseless?

Live in an apartment complex so only regular practical route is rinseless

Using Ultima rinseless, together with rag company sponge, dirt guard.
Diluting equivalent to 1oz for 3 gal.

All the online videos show how the wash media is so clear cos all the dirt has been encapsulated and sinks to the bottom.

Mine remains cloudy. And near the end I see the media on the last panels are dirty.

So obviously the sponge is not releasing all the dirt. But the dust also seems extremely fine thus it remains suspended in the wash.

What gives?

Thanks y’all.

*must say, benefits of buying a used car vs brand spanking new means I’m not having sleepless nights cos of this.

2014 ES300H Android Headunit - 10.25” or 13.25”?

Just took over a NTM 2014 ES300H, and i’m looking to update the 8” nav to a new headunit

But i’m having a hard time deciding between 10.25 vs 13.25”.

The 10.25” replacement keeps the lines of the dash nice and classic, but the 13.25” brings the screen nearer for touch, but at the same time it kinda sticks out like a sore thumb. It looks like a modified unit for 2019 and later ES to retrofit the older ES.

Hoping for some opinions for some who have gone those routes.

I’d use the headunit for nav, and mostly. media when i’m waiting/parked.

Appreciate the opinions!

NTM - 2014 Lexus ES300H

Learning the ins and outs of this thing having come from a diesel car. Such a pleasant ride though!

One qs. When I test drove it the electronic rear sunshade button was working.

Now when I press it, it doesn’t raise. Before I go back to the dealer about it. Thought I’d ask y’all here cos I was deep diving the menus yesterday and maybe I switched something off.

Appreciate the assist!

COE expiring: need some input.

I’ve enjoyed a Renault Megane diesel for a good part of 8 years. Expiring May’27. Mileage 230k

Up to a month back I was likely leaning renewing COE.
Economy is great, engine reliable.
But diesel is now crazy and I’m not sure it will return to the old baseline, and my air con is down again- something Renault is known for.

Renewing at 125k for 10/60+ for 5.

I could also perhaps look at a few COE cars, like a Camry or even some Lexus ES with almost a full 10 years coe.
Reliable, cheaper to maintain, and they’re also bigger, so kids will have more space and can sometimes squeeze grandparents in.
I’ve seen some around 150-160.

Not sure I can stomach 200+k for a new car.

Appreciate some input and highlighting some blind spots if any.

Renault was my first and only car so know little about these considerations.

Thanks!

roadworthy IEM cables

After wearing customs on stage for years, I’ve been itching for a new pair of universals just to have a new sound to enjoy.

But I also intend to use it on stage. I see many IEMs now have rather thick braids, some pretty stiff compared to what was the mainstay of 15 years ago- the Westone/ultimate ears really thin one that are really light and don’t tangle that easy.

Looking for a recommendation of something contemporary but still good for use live and probably also casual listening.

Probably connectors that are more low profile as well. Don’t really like the chunky metal connectors.

Thanks!
