Positive Grid Reactor vs Katana 50 Gen 3

I recently got the katana 50 with a PRS NF3. I will use this for church worship and jamming with family and friends.

I mainly use my Acoustic guitar (Martin D13e) for this, I see that the Katana has an acoustic preset. Usually we have a sound system mixer and I don’t need an amp for the acoustic.

With the new purchase I got the Positive Grid Neo. I am an electric guitar newbie but I have been playing acoustic for some years.

I see a lot of use with the NF3 and the Neo specially the app. Unfortunately, I cannot output whatever presets I have with the Neo to the Katana (unless I am mistaken).

With the Good experience I have with the Spark app I was wondering If it would be a good idea to “trade in” the katana for the 50 watt version of the Reactor.

I know the Katana has the app as well but I need to buy the $50 BT dongle (which I bought has not arrived yet). The AI features of the Spark app seems very interesting, the play along that generates the chords of whatever song is also something I use (also my kids use).

I am wondering what I will miss if I did “trade in” the katana for the Reactor. The Reactor is so new that I could not find a head to head on them yet.

Is it correct to assume that I can use the Neo and the Reactor with the same app?

Any input would be appreciated.

I have had my Long range Model Y since Dec 2020. Very happy with it. It has almost 60k miles on it and its already out of warranty. I purchased FSD in the beginning and have not added anything more. My 12v battery died last night (it has been replaced before) on our driveway without warning. Same thing happened before the first time it happened and luckily it was also on our driveway.

I chatted with the AI asked me to do some trouble shooting which didn’t work. So AI told me to get a tow through road side assistance. I finally chatted with a person and they called me making sure ai was safe. I asked if it could just be a service appointment since it is probably a 12v battery issue.

The guy who called me and chatted with me was very nice, he was trying to get someone at that moment but since it was around 6pm he couldn’t get anyone. He did schedule me for a mobile service appointment for the following morning.

The morning came, the service guy was driving a cybertruck! He was very pleasant and did the job.

I am happy with he service even for an out of warranty Tesla they came and did their job.

I replaced my 12v the first time on July 2023 at 30k MIles. Under warranty. And now at almost 60k miles for $219.24 with taxes.

I am glad that both the times it happened in our driveway, very lucky! I am lucky I was able to get mobile service to go out and not having to tow our car.
