Recently got a calf tattoo to add to my anime collection (currently sitting at 19 tattoos). Did my tried and true aftercare routine of 4 days in saniderm and then taking off the bandage. I gently cleaned it 3-4 times a day with warm water and dial soft soap (scentless). Applied a thin layer of lotion (scentless lubriderm) when the surface felt extra tight. After the first few days, my leg began to swell significantly with bright red irritation on the skin surface. The scabs were forming roughly on the surface of the lower portion of the tattoo (chunks of it appeared to fall out even though I didn't pick at it at all). A shooting/throbbing pain would occur whenever I changed elevation to stand (took like 5 minutes to walk forward). Asked my artist who said it was "the roughest heal she'd seen" and to go get medical advice. Went to my general practitioner and he identified it as "mild cellulitis" and prescribed cefdiner as an oral antibiotic.
Been keeping it elevated as much as possible, washing it regularly with soft soap, using ice packs to try to reduce the swelling in tandem with the occasional ibuprofen. Still on my course of antibiotics. The redness has improved markedly, going from vibrant neon red to a light purple. The swelling has gone down slightly despite still having stiffness. Also, the shooting pain has lowered significantly from changing elevation. Hoping that this will heal fully. Worried about certain parts of the tattoo (i.e. the blue haired girl's-Esdeath- neck portion where the chunk seemed to fall out). Would gladly welcome any advice on how to best heal this train wreck on my calf. Thanks in advance.

Started this calf piece a week ago (Wed 1st). My artist said we had to stop five hours into it, saying my skin hap stopped taking the ink. I have 19 tattoos and I have never hit that hard limit before. Anyway, tried to go with my normal healing routine involving a saniderm flex wrap bandage. After some physical exertion 2 days after, the bandage slipped, exposing the upper half completely. I went home from work and rapidly replaced it that same day. Two days later, water from taking a shower built up in the bandage so I took it off after four days instead of the recommended 5-6. All in all, the top of my leg (colored portion below the knee) is still quite tender/tight. And the rash is quite noticeable. It's not hot to the touch, doesn't have a noticeable smell or feels especially warm. Just never had this sort of irritation after a week long heal. Any information would be deeply appreciated since I love all my tattoos and want to maintain their optimal quality.

Perhaps the most egregious question remaining among the plethora of plot holes and loose story threads left hanging in the epic disaster of Bungie's failed narrative. After a dozen years, two games, and manifold lore entries, we still don't know definitively WHAT the Traveler is? That's absurd. Just bonkers to leave us hanging on such a massive mystery. Is it some sort of vehicle; a massive starship? Is it some divine entity, a 'silent god' to quote Zavala? A machine run by some exterior or interior force? According to the concept art, it had ties to a female figure. Some sort of cosmic/angelic waifu? The emissary of the Light or its source? I feel like we know more about the nature of Darkness and the Witness more than the Traveler itself, the guiding light of Guardians everywhere. What do you think the Traveler is? A god, a battery, or the largest damn disco ball ever conceived?
Best waifu from a silly yet awesome action ecchi that ended on a MASSIVE cliffhanger. Was wondering if anyone else liked the character/show?
