Orktober - snakebite vacation

These boyz been around a while, were my first attempt at nmm.

I wanted to try a living tree. So good time to give these boyz a proper home.

Lord of Plagues - makeover

Never liked the base of original so redone, and modified by adding a wing and cowl. Also improved skin and armour with some glazing blending.

Some Gretchin used to learn nmm

Going to be part of a Runt Herd diorama. Used these to learn nmm, and not allow any metallic paint to be used.

Really pleased how they turned out, difficult to photo due to size.

Usually avoid NMM like the plague, this look right?

Does this read as metal? Always avoided NMM because I couldn’t wrap my head around it, even as far as not buying minis with metal.

Idea’s for iron bars, straight, bent and broken for prison cell

Looking for some help/ideas please.

I want to do a scene with a mythical creature (Malisaurus Rex) breaking out of a cell.

I need iron bars about 10cm in length.

Some bars un-damaged, some bent and some broken with all same texture.

Did think about fuse wire, but the straight bars won’t work.

Any ideas greatly appreciated 🙏

The Storyteller by Black Crow Miniatures

My best piece of all time and the most enjoyable. Quite a difference from what I was achieving 6 months ago.

Gretchin Target Practice.

Just a little fun piece that I admittedly spent too much time on, for some spare practice Gretchin.
22nd mini completed on this journey.

My last mini purchased from T*mu, not buying again as cheap brittle resin that breaks too easily.

Model no.21 completed and with that my entries done for the Black Dragon painting competition this weekend.
