In response to sellers not giving measurements…

I saw a post blow up yesterday basically complaining about how they asked a seller for measurements and the seller said they don’t have them, and they said well can you measure, and the seller said no. This is my hot take:

I think the seller is in the right. Everyone is like “BuT eVeN aN 8 yEaR oLd cHiLd cAn GiVe mEaSuReMeNts” like ok I get it. But hear me out: 1, people don’t even say what measurements they want. They just say “give measurements”. I don’t know what that means, and that’s fine! But even if I did, like “inseam”, it’s extremely easy to be off by an inch because you weren’t paying attention in 5th grade science when they taught you how to measure, and if you TELL the buyer “12 inch inseam” and it’s 11 or 13? You’re screwed! But if you just say “large” and the tag says large, you win.

Also, I’m lazy! I’m selling half my stuff for less than $10. So no, I’m not gonna spend 10 minutes digging the stuff out, measuring it, communicating that to you, maybe updating my listing, just for you to offer me $3 on a $6 item. Like it just disrupts the flow of my day, and TO ME!!!!! (Because I understand most people don’t have this mentality) I’d rather the item not sell for 6 more months, or I just donate it then have to take measurements for like $3 profit. Thanks for listening.

The only reason I’m writing this is because I DO think that it’s wrong when someone asks for measurements and get told “one sec!” Or something like that And then get ghosted.

But the post the person literally just said “no I don’t have measurements” and the buyer pushed back and they said “no sorry I’m not measuring it!” Like why isn’t that an acceptable answer? Just go buy something where they measure it (probably more expensive). I will measure anything over $20.

Anyway, the sentence I bolded is really the most important one so

TLDR: if you measure, you could get screwed, if you just use the size, you can’t.

No one is going to believe me, and that’s ok.

So I just wanted to put this out there, because I take far in less than 48 hours. But this is a completely real post. Here are my simulated exam scores:

Mini Exam 1: 74
Mini exam 2: 80
Mini exam 3: 74
Simulated exam 1: 74
Simulated exam 2: 74

How is this even mathematically possible??? I know everyone is like “Becker bump Becker bump” but l don’t know I feel like I’m manifesting something bad for myself 😂😂 when I got the 74 on the second sim I almost jumped out of my seat in shock. I’m going to take sim FR tomorrow, and I’ve been told that one is easier so maybe that will boost my confidence but I really just want to pass this thing first try. Any advice 😂😂 do any math majors want to tell me how weird this is?

Without using ChatGPT, Please explain how these are any different?

Can anyone help explain why these two are different? They seemingly ask the exact same question. You get money, but you give a lil gift, so subtract the price of the gift and thats the contribution. But for some reason on the simulated exam, its a completely different rule???

Help Finding Specific Watch

Hi all,

This is my first time posting here. I was just looking around for a watch and I am really interested in the Root Beer Rolex. Naturally, I can't afford that, so I want the next best thing: an invicta that looks like it. The problem is, there are 2 similar ones. The 30626 Model, and the 44717 (also found under 52001 for some reason) Model. The 30626 looks similar, but isn't quite right. Unless someone is going to tell me otherwise, the brown and black mix just looks way different than on the Rolex, and the dots and texture look significantly different too. I am really not expecting it to look exactly like the Rolex (there's a literal shark on both) but I like the deeper brown and the more subtle look of the Rolex. The 44717 model looks muchhhhhhh more similar to what I am looking for. However, I literally cannot find it anywhere!!!! The 30626 seems to be plenty in stock but the 44717 is nowhere to be found online for purchase. I cant even find it on anyone's wrist, all I have are some stock photos from the website but not for purchase on invictastores. Does anyone know what I should do? I know the 44717 might be a lost cause, but I am certainly not paying 110+ for the 30626 which I want less, so does anyone known if this watch has a chance of getting rotated through their hump day sale anytime soon, or do they reserve that for the worst watches? I appreciate any help on this as this would be my first Invicta.

Cheapest with most spin

I have no interest in playing tournaments or anything. Literally all I care about is being able to do the “snake” very well. My $10 paddle isn’t cutting it no matter what I do, I’ve literally practiced for years, and I just played a friend who is way worse than me and lost because I couldn’t return the serve because he was using his friends $400 paddle and the ball just kept flying off my paddle even though he wasn’t trying to do that. But basically, what is the cheapest paddle I can get that will have that effect? I want it to take almost no effort to snake the ball and have massive spin. I’d prefer to spend under $50 but can spend up to $100 if it’s a crazy noticeable difference. I play penhold grip if that matters but yeah I just want the most spin possible, not even like a practical paddle

Joined the club! Feel free to ask me anything.

Just picked this up. Knocked 3.84 off to make it 35,500. Good deal? I know there’s some extras like doc fee etc like maybe I could’ve gotten $35,500 somewhere else but did the whole deal over the phone, got the color I wanted and only had to wait 35 days. 2026 Rav4 LE with literally nothing added not even floor mats. Had an overall bad experience with dealer (like I asked them to set the tires to 36psi and got told “they’re at the recommended range of 33psi, but you can go through the service lane to get them yourself!”, only for me to find out the service lane was closed and the tires were at FORTY THREE.) but anyway seems ok so far so ask me anything but this is not an ask me anything officially so just sharing with everyone
